Which one would you get and why?

Probably the regular K Cup...for now at least their stuff is much easier to find. I guess eventually it may all move to the Vue and we will have to update.

k cups are way easier to find and in all varieties

K cups..they offer a pretty extensive variety and are easy to get. Vues are far more limited and harder to obtain. If I am paying that much for a coffee maker I want to be able to use it to it's fullest and I don't feel that can be done with the Vue. Honestly (and this is totally my personal opinion) but I wonder if the Vue will do well enough in the long run and if not then what happens if they find it fails and stop making the cups? K cups have been around a bit longer and are more "established" so I would fear that less with them.

K-cup, for reasons stated above.

Whichever you decide on, just FYI that right now there is a killer deal at Kohls on ALL Keurig bewers. If you have a Kohls charge (or open one). The brewers are on sale, you get an additional 30% off with HARVEST30, free shipping over $75, AND there is a $25-50 rebate on each one.

I don't even know what a Vue is?
I have a Kuerig. Love it. One cup a day is all I need, so it's perfect.

Neither. Tassimo -- the choice of coffee connoisseurs -- is better than both (can do steamed beverages and heats up instantly unlike Keurigs). :teacher:

I love my Keurig. The choices are great and usually I can find K cups on sale at places like the Christmas tree shop! I won't lie I did put the Keurig Vue on my wedding registry lol cuz I looked cool. (Maybe somebody picked it up for the wedding on Sautrday! kidding! lol.) I had a Tassimo before the Keurig and it broke after 4 months of non-heavy use and the pods are no longer easy or convenient to find without ordering online so that wouldn't be my first choice.

We have had our Tassimo for over five years of continued heavy use with no problems. A decent selection of T-cups are readily avialable at our local Bed Bath and Beyond, albeit Amazon has a vast selection with better prices and because they are all prime gets them to us with free two day shipping. Given how quick and easy the Tassimo is, I literally cringe every time I have to deal with a Keurig when I travel on business (clank, rattle, hiss...wait.....) :coffee:

My mom is a buyer for a food company and works a lot with Keurigs/K-cups. She heard that they are really going to start pushing the Vue, so the Keurigs are going to be marked down considerably (in addition to the Kohl's deal Bren's Mom mentioned, I just saw them at Bed Bath and Beyond with a $20-$30 rebate, plus you can use a 20% off coupon). My mom also said that the patent on K-cups is going to expire soon, so lots of other companies will probably begin to produce them and prices will go down.

We have a Keurig and really like it...we bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond 6-8 months ago and used a 20% off coupon. It's been finicky at times but we've been able to get it up and working by following the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual. We've gotten spoiled with Starbucks K-cups (thanks to a deal my mom gets at work)...none of the other coffees we've tried have tasted as good.

The only thing I don't like about the Keurig is how wasteful the K-cups are. We can't recycle them in our town, so I feel a little guilty about that. :guilty: We did get the My Cup thing (I think that's what it's called), which allows you to brew regular coffee using the Keurig, but haven't gotten it to work well yet, and those K-cups are just so darn convenient that we haven't put too much energy into getting the My Cup to work. :sad2:

K-Cup. For the reasons others have said. I got an email for QVC. They had a great deal on the Plantuim with a 35 rebate & easy pay.

Oh boy, that's what I was afraid of. DH knows he's getting a Keurig from his mom for Christmas and I told him to mention that he'd rather have the k-cup system. I guess she ordered a Vue though.

I'm glad I saw this! My dh doesn't drink coffee but really wants one of these. But I don't know which one to get? I want to be able to use a travel mug with it. The description says "three Brew sizes" but doesn't say what they are... The mini says 6oz, 8oz, and 10oz options. If they are all the same, I will just get the mini.
