Keurig Coffee Makers....favorite coffee flavors, best place to buy k cups?

I have a new Keurig, which I really like so far. I got the one that can make a larger cup so I can use it to make a big mug of water for tea (I usually use my tea bags).

What are your favorite coffee flavors? Do you prefer flavored or unflavored? Which roast? I seem to like the medium roasts--not too strong or weak.

Where do you buy the k cups? I just placed an order with bigcatcoffees. It might not be the cheapest place to buy, but it allows a person to make their own sample pack and I ordered various ones to try.

we buy ours at greatcoffee.com you get free shipping if you buy 6 boxes. if you automatically delivery it will save you 50 cents a box.. Hubby likes the green mountain breakfast blend coffee and Celestial seasonings earl gray tea.

I have tried Green Mountain Mocha Nut Fudge, Rain Forest Nut, Caramel Vanilla Cream.. Blueberry They are all ok... not my favorite though

We also bought the reusable pod so we can use Dunkin Donuts Coffee..

Did you register your machine at Keurig.com? When you do they give you a code for buy two boxes, get two boxes free, plus 10% off ,plus free shipping. I got four boxes for like $23 shipped.

Since then I've been buying on Amazon. I like Coffee People's Donut Shop. It's similar in taste to places like Dunkin' Donuts. I think Timothy's just came out with some sort of Donut Shop too.

I also like Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee. It doesn't always get good reviews, but I think it's yummy.

I'm a hazelnut fan myself. Near Christmas they'll put out a couple of holiday blends that are yummy.

I know I should buy at the cheaper places but I joined the Coffee Club at Keurig, and just get them online there. Lazy me The service is great, and the order comes by FedEx in 2 days (to FL). I usually order enough to get free shipping, a 10% discount and free sample packs.

In other threads a lot of people listed Amazon as the best place. Our Sams Club has a 80 count of Green Mountain or Caribou @ $33. Target has Kcups, Kohls has them on sale a lot, a DISer posted previously she takes her 20% coupons and buys them at Bed Bath & Beyond when they're on sale there.

And I don't even like coffee (I'm a tea person), so it's up to my DH to be a guinea pig and try everything I buy for him. He's mostly a very strong black coffee guy, but the "Jet Fuel" was even too much for him. I think he's tried every Extra Bold type they have there, including Black Tiger, most of the Sumatrans, Italian Roast, Espresso Blend, etc.. dark, dark, dark.

I like to take Twinings Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea, fill a tumbler with ice, remove the bottom cup holder, slide the glass of ice in and push the large cup button and have a fresh glass of ice tea. Can't beat it. On the last order I bought the new Ice Tea blend cups, but haven't tried them yet. When the temps go down here I drink the Green Mountain Hot Cocoa, with lots of marshmallows.

I bought our Keurig last year as a before-Xmas special on QVC, and no problems yet, knock on wood.

The Golden French Toast is outstanding...I love how the kitchen smells after we make one!

My husband also likes the teas and we bought some of the unsweetened iced tea. I think it is strong, but he likes it.

Have fun trying all the different kinds. The first week we had ours, we went through so many boxes!!! I just love being able to make a cup of decaf at night and not have to worry about making an entire pot for just me.

Pretty much all the Twinings teas.

We have ordered from a variety of places, pretty much whoever is offering a promo. Found a site today for coffee wholesalers, www.cw-usa.com, and they looked like they had some good prices. And if I'm in a pinch I can buy a pretty decent variety at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Yum! Some of the flavors suggested are ones that I just ordered in my sample packs. It's funny, dvcfamily, that you recommended Green Mountain....one of my friends told me not to order them, that all she's tried have been bad. Good to know that I should be my own judge. Cindy, thanks for the hint about registering it....I haven't done that yet and will. I just used it for hot water and made a big mug of tea using a tea bag. Can't wait for my morning coffee! And to think....I'd given up coffee.
