Sort of a weird question but do the rooms at Newport Bay Hotel (or any of the other hotels) have tea/coffee making facilities?

Apologies for such a pedantic question but you know, DH and I don't function like normal human beings in the morning if we don't have a cup of coffee right away ;)

Thanks

Eloise

Hi,
We stopped at the Hotel Santa Fe last year and they didnt have kettles. We are stopping at NBC when we go (a week on monday) and as far as im aware there are no kettles (but I could be wrong)
I hope this was some help to you

I seem to remember that you can hire a kettle from the reception.

Hire a kettle?

Oh dear...I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore...

I guess we'll just have to be grumpy/zombie like until we get our coffees elsewhere!

lol... i asked the same ? about Santa Fe not too long ago... someone told me then that you could hire them,.. and someone else mentioned that it was free to borrow them... i dunno.....

They are free to hire you just have to pay a refundable security deposit. I also need at least 2 industrial strength coffees first thing of a morning to wake me up :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yes, the kettles are free but you have to pay for supplies! So take your own. I think this is shocking, kettles & supplies are standard in the Hol Inn etc

Well at least i've been warned!

I suppose I do understand why they don't have kettles, most Europeans wouldn't drink instant coffee anyway! But i'm not that fussy, a caffeine fix is a caffeine fix :teeth:

Thanks everyone, I will bring my supplies with me!

We bought a cheap travel kettle a few years ago and it goes everywhere with us, just in case in comes in handy - it has at DLP ! We take a travel iron too but find as little use for that as possible:idea: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I am with you on that one, I can't imagine a use for a travel iron, I don't spend much time with my 'home' iron either!

I might look into the travel kettle, great suggestion!

Hi Just thought I'd remind you to take an adaptor along with your kettle. I packed our travel iron this year without one.
Luckily the creased look is in this year :rotfl2:

I won't forget! We need it to charge up the digital camera and mobiles.

Try not to think me too stupid but I did forget something this year when I went to WDW for 2 weeks...my purse with my credit cards!!!! I wasn't too shocked when I got to Orlando and tried to get a card out to rent a trolley at the airport! :rotfl:

Thank goodness for Western Union...and travel kettles!
