Oh YUMMMM!! I love those too!

Ranchup??? Ewwww that's just wrong....now fry sauce is awesome but I think we already covered that one. lol
I like spicy Ranch but I make my own, I mix salsa with Ranch and there ya go. I prefer Italian on my salads and I make my own of that too tho.I like to make my own stuff a lot, that way I know exactly what's in it.

Subs, I like Spicy Italians from Subway or their Tuna, those are my favorites. I put cheese on them, no mayo or mustard and add the following veggies, lettuce, onion, olives, bell peppers, pickles, cucumbers, banana peppers, oil/vinegar, salt/pepper and YUM!!! Notice the no tomatoes here either? I'm not a big tomato fan, unless it's on pizza, pasta sauce, salsa, ketchup or freshly grown tomatoes I don't want them. lol
I do have something weird that I LOVE to eat, DBF thinks I'm gross but I love it. I slice white onions and cucumbers, put them in a bowl, add some white vinegar, a little salt and water, let it sit and YUM!!!!! My fave!!
So, how about tuna? Who eats it and how do you make it?
I like it plain on a salad with balsamic vinegar or if I make it I like to add white onions, garlic & onion salt, small diced pickles, a little mayo and some of the pickle brine, mix it together and YUM!! I eat it on sandwiches or with Triscuits, that's what I have for lunch today actually. lol
Ok, have to say the cucumber/onion thing is a little strange!
Tuna should be mixed with mayo and pickle relish. Celery ruins the whole thing, so don't add that!![]()
My Mom has made cucumber and onions like that forever. I don't care for it. I love cucumbers though--but like to slice them, add them to ice water--yummm. So refreshing in the Summer.
I make tuna salad the same way. Not only does celery ruin it it's a pain in the rear to dice it up!
Egg salad is just mayo, salt and pepper--no pickle relish.
I'm okay with celery in tuna salad but I agree that relish is better. But I'm not a big fan of tuna to begin with. I actually prefer to substitute canned chicken breast for tuna. It has a similar taste because it's canned like tuna is but it doesn't have the fishy taste to it. I used to buy the "salad confetti" at Vons in the produce section which was small diced up carrots, celery, radish and I think tiny bits of brocolli (?). Then I would put that in with the chicken to make chicken salad so I could have crunchy things without having to do any work. I haven't seen the salad confetti recently though so I don't know if they stopped making it or if my Vons just stopped selling it.
I have to disagree about the egg salad. It has to be Miracle Whip (not mayo) and pickle relish is a must!
I have bought the salad confetti too in the past--but my Vons closed--I used it in soups and stir fries. Never thought about tuna/chicken salad. Hmmmm.
I've never been a big Miracle Whip fan.
I don't care for Miracle Whip either. Don't know where my sister got that. But it is good in my mom's potato salad.

I cannot remember where I saw it but it was a high Hispanic clientele store. I think the Stater Brothers and probably at Northgate markets.
