Kerry Apologizes

i just think it's not really fair. Bush can barely speak half the time. he's said and done some PRETTY STUPID THINGS in these past years and all of the Republicans kept saying "he's just human, he makes mistakes" and Kerry says one wrong thing and he gets jumped on by everyone.

It's clearly not a true apology. When confronted with the issue shortly after making the disgusting remarks, he said that he would not be apologizing.

After the reflection of over 24 hours, and a chance to see the devastating effect his comments have had, he's trying to stop the political bleeding.

I think the public sees very clearly that this is a hollow apology and that Kerry was pressured i nto making it. He meant what he said, sad but true.

This is not a true apology. an apology is "I'm sorry I said it". this is "I'm sorry you didn't like it." His words were not misinterpreted--he said them, out loud, on camera. What's to misinterpret? Why sidestep and bring in the Republicans--it makes him sound defensive. Considering that John Kerry is a decorated hero I think his prior statement was an enormous faux paus and he needs to be man enough to say "I shouldn't have said that and I'm sorry.Sorry sorry sorry"

well i think Bush has insulted our military without even saying anything. placing us in a country that has absoutly nothing to do with these terrorist attacks he claims, and then having thousands of innocent people killed(on both sides).

but i was actually GETTING to the point of Kerry made one wrong move and it's "OMG HE'S LIKE THE WORST PERSON EVER!" and Bush says and does stupid things and it seems like people don't even care.

i thought it was pretty obvious what i meant......are you in the military?? maybe that's why you didn't get it.

Iraq did not have anything to do with the terrorist attacks that happened on 9/11. he used 9/11 to get us into his father's war.
