I have just had an online quote from kenwood travel

17 nights B/C garden view, flying Virgin, DDP, 14 day Tickets.This is for 2 adults, 12yr and 10 yr old= £7500
That sounds good to me, what do you think?, but, I dont know anything about Kenwood, and also how can they offer garden view rooms when Disney online arnt?

I booked a holiday with them last year as they were offering a really good price, we didn't go in the end but we had no problems when booking with Kenwood. I asked around before I booked and quite a few people had travelled with them and all said they were very happy with their service. :goodvibes

Disney like all hotels etc will give travel agents a certain allocation of these rooms to sell.

I found when i was looking at various options before booking, Disney were not offering certain resorts even but I could find them elsewhere. Its the same with restaurants like Trex etc that give Disney a certain ammount of tables for people to make ADRS and then keep the rest back. People have often said over on the us side of these boards that Disney could not get them a table but when they called direct bingo a table was available.
I really hope that makes sense.:goodvibes

I think thats a good price for that resort and as I have said before if you are happy with that rate then go with it.

We used Kenwood Travel last year to go to Jamaica - no problems at all.

I am looking at that deal too!

Typed you a reply this morning and when I tried to send it I got the message ' the dis server is unavailable' :confused3

I'll try again.

We booked our Feb 2009 trip with them. A really nice lady called Pam dealt with us. I booked 14 months beforehand and she was able to book our Virgin seats both ways. We even got the correct seats when we went :goodvibes

We had e - tickets and my DH name was spelt wrongly. I phoned her up and she changed it there and then and even waited on the phone until I got the new e-mail.

Kenwood saved us £1300 off the Virgin price even after my Virgin discount. We had the same flight, car and hotel.

I was really pleased with them as nothing was too much trouble.

just checked and they want a fortune for my twins, nearly £1000 each for old key west just for them and they are 2

I phoned them today as the e-mail said 14 nights flight tickets food & Beach Club for £1629 per adult. A fab deal I thought......... Hhhmmmppphh

They FORGOT to say anywhere on the e-mail that I had to bring 2 kids with me to get that price!!!! Not impressed!! And called their marketing department to say so!!!!

I only have 1 child & he's 22!!!!!!!!!!

But I still think at just under £2000pp its still a reasonable deal. (just need to work on DH now :rolleyes1 )
