Where can I find the cheapest tickets for Kennywood?

AAA is the cheapest I have found at $27/ticket (all ages). Anyone know of any better deals?

Also, is is a full day park?

TIA

I can't answer the best price but unless the park has changed significantly in the last couple of years I can say that when we went we found it to be an all day park - not a two day park tho, not unless you want to ride the same rides over and over and over again. But I suppose like any park it depends on what types of rides you like. If I recall correctly there were a number of coasters and a variety of other rides as well.

Right now, there are various flyers around for buy one admission, get one free. We received several mailings at our home, but we live nearby. Not sure if you could find something like that.

They are also $27.00 for regular tickets and 21.00 for children at Giant Eagle, a local grocery store.

I do think it is a full day park depending on the crowd level of the day you go.

I grew up near there and usually you used to be able to find discounts at fast food places and/or on coke cans. Don't know if that is still the case or how much it would save you.

I live near Kennywood, and agree that it is a 1 day park. Several coasters, several water rides, and all your typical amusement park rides. Plus plenty of Goodies like Potato Patch fries and Funnel cakes!

That said, if you're looking for more than one day, SandCastle is also owned by Kennywood, and is a short distance away. It's a water park, and tickets can be purchased individually, or a "hopper" type pass can be purchased for both. Please see options at the link!

Also, a slightly further distance away but also owned by Kennywood: Idlewild Park. This is in Ligonier, PA, roughly an hour away from Kennywood. But, if you have kids, this is the place! Basically, it's a giant Kiddie Land aimed at the smaller kids. And, it also has a water park.

As to discount tickets, most people in the area get their tickets from Giant Eagle, a local grocery store. You might have them in your area? Not sure how far north they go. Anyway, you need an Advantage Card to get the discount (free grocery store discount card). I'm honestly not sure how the prices compare to other company's discounts, though. More details here:

Sorry for the lack of Hyperlinks, but I'm still too new to post pics or links. :( Hope that helped a bit, though! :)

Thanks for the info. We live in OH and have Giant Eagles so I'll start there and see if they sell the Kennywood tickets.
