I don't think any of the crowd calendars are that good any more. I'll have som facts after next week. I looked at Kenny's and subscribed to Touring Plans.

I have a sneaking suspicion Touring Plans has given up on crowd calendars. (easywdw has) When I subscribed 4 years for a November visit I got updates/changes every couple of weeks as they adjusted it. I signed up this year back in january and have gotten 1 update.

Disney has been changing this so last minute, that it makes it very hard to do crowd calenders.
I did look at last year's calendar to try to help with our upcoming trip.
I think it's kinda a crap shoot at this point. I think I'm going to get Touring Plans app, just to get actual wait times

We are going next week too (leaving this Friday actually). I did Touring Plans and Kenny and was hoping for Josh too, but I've given up. Touring Plans was awsome for our first trip in 2011 and our one in 2014. I'm kinda winging it this time. Honestly, this might be our last one.

Yep, we're winging it mixed with FP+. I started by choosing days based on TB calendars but then adjusted based on what we really wanted to do vs. what we thought we "had" to each day. We plan on spending more late nights at the parks and sleep in the next day.

I've always found KTPs calendars to be pretty accurate. Just be sure you are reading them correctly - just because a park is green doesn't mean there won't be crowds, it just means there will be less crowds than the red park.

I have some FPs for later in the days and am planning rope drop (we are morning people :-). We do want to see some night shows, but our latest is at 9 pm I think.

I have been tracking Touring Plan's actual crowd levels vs. predicted levels for a couple of weeks. Pretty off, but I understand why. I've also been tracking wait times at each park for a couple of weeks so hopefully I can look at wait times and hopefully get a sense for crowd levels while at the park.

We actually have very specific things we want to do this trip. We are willing to wait for them. Anything else is gravy. We will stop and enjoy the scenery more this time (as it is likely our last for a while with other places we want to see and do). My boys want to do some pin trading and we won't be rushed. We don't do ADRs so that helps us change at the last minute if we find a park too crowded.

We are also doing 3 days at Universal for the first time. Am just learning the layout of the park and what rides to hit first. Otherwise, going to just relax and enjoy.

Hope you have a fabulous time and we get awesome weather :-)!!!

I am using these and I've adjusted some plans based on them. Just not as comfortable this trip as I was the past two. I am one that misses the old FP system. I LOVED our 1st trip in 2011. I knew how to work each park based on the information I obtained from the Dis, but was very comfortable adjusting what park on what day while we were there according to the weather. That trip was so smooth and my husband and boys were amazed at how easy everything flowed -- LOL.

Enjoy Universal. It's a great park.

Touring Plans is worth the price just to use the lines app while you are in the parks. I found the easywdw calendars to be fairly accurate in the past, but he doesn't have them any longer.
