Kennedy Space centre - HS

If I go to KSC for the day, until closing at 5pm in Sept will I have enough time to get from there to HS to see Fantasmic without busting a gut? (bearing in mind, on the plus side that Fantasmic is on every day this Sept, but on the downside, I am being told we need to be in line 2 hours before the show??) I thought we could just grab a burger once we are in our seats for dinner that night.

What time is Fantasmic?
From leaving KSC to getting into the turnstiles you need at least 90 mins and thats if no traffic and no accidents.
2 hours is a bit much IMO if its on every night, unless you want to be really close to the front.

If my info is correct KSC closes at 5pm and Fantasmic is at 8.30. I figured we would probably be through the turnstiles and in line by7ish ?
Any suggestions as to the best route. I know we will need the 417, but which exit would be best to get to HS?
Can we get something to eat once we are seated or do we need to have eaten beforehand?

Directions here, main route is on the 528 right to the end and down I4, if busy we have used the 50 a couple of times thru Christmas but if that way is busy it takes a long time as there are less overtaking options.

I missed the food question, limited food options in there but not something I have ever looked at, we always eat before or after. You will have to see what time you have. All over in 30 mins so you can be eating somewhere by 9:30pm if you don't get time before.
