Kennedy Space Center

We were interested in attending the Space Shuttle launch that is scheduled for 7/13. My manager was invited to the launch, but cannot make it, so we will be getting her tickets. I'm not sure where exactly the ticket-location is ,but I'm assuming that it will be relatively close. We will be staying at WDW (CBR) and will not be renting a car.

How much would a taxi be? Would it be better to have mears or town car service?

The Kennedy Space Center is about 45 minutes away from Orlando, so it will be quite a drive. Also, what kind of tickets are you getting? You will need tickets and a vehicle placard to enter the space center complex on launch day, so I am not sure how that would work with a taxi.

I bought tickets for the launch back in April when they went on sale. I contacted the sales office Friday and they said they were mailing the vehicle placards and tickets via UPS overnight/two day starting on that day. Most people who purchased them should be getting them next week.
