Kennedy Space Center - Lunch with an astronaut?

Hi,
Has anyone done the "lunch with an astronaut" at Kennedy Space Center? What did you think of it? Anything else to know about a day at the Space Center? Tips?

We did it and found it enjoyable. I suppose it depends on the astronaut of the day though.

I forget which one spoke (it's the retired ones that do this). He was a great speaker, very friendly and hung around for pictures and some chit chat for all who were interested.

Food was ok.

So how was it? I'm debating whether to cancel a reservation for the lunch I made for my family (I have 2 DDs, 10 and 8).

On tip I would give for those who haven't been there is that there are billboard signs telling you it's a 45 min. drive from Orlando...It took us 1 1/2 hours I would have liked to have known the REAL driving time before we headed out.
