Kennedy Space Center Hotels?

We are going to rent a car and drive over to KSC and go to the beach for one night.

Any advice about a nice clean hotel near KSC? Maybe on the beach, since this is my teenage son's first trip to the ocean.

Also any advice about KSC, the beach or the drive from orlando would be appreciated.

We usually drive to KSC, and then drive over to Cocoa Beach (maybe 20-30 minutes away) and take a walk on the beach. There are lots of hotels around there, but sorry I've never stayed so I cannot recommend any. There is a Ron Jon's Surf shop though and your teenage son will probably love that!

I would love to know this too because my fiance would LOVE to go see the Space stuff. Anyone with recommendations?

PhotobearSam- this may not help you any, but just so you know, Kennedy Space Center is just over an hour away from Orlando, so even if you didn't stay there, it's an easy day trip. Just bring lots of change because there are lots of tolls along the way. If there are just two adults visiting you can cover a lot of ground there in one day.

Thanks for the replys, I will keep looking for a hotel in the Cocoa Beach area.

My choices would be either the Cocoa Beach Courtyard by Marriott (can be had for $79) or the Cocoa Beach Hampton Inn (can be gotten for $69). They are located right next to each other. I had a 7th floor room in the Courtyard w/ a beautiful view. Could even see Kennedy Space center rocket assembly building, even though it was several miles north.
