Kennedy Space Center - Best on a Friday or Saturday

We're going to be down in Orlando a couple of days before our scheduled trip to WDW in August and we're thinking of taking our boys (both under 10) to Kennedy for a day. Does anyone know whether Friday or Saturday would be the better day to go? Also, are there any "can't miss" pieces of Kennedy that we should be sure to hit.

I posted this on an earlier thread but I think you have to do the bus tour and the IMAx movies. Friday will probably be quieter than Saturday.

This caused us to want to learn more and we're probably going to do the lunch with an astronaut experience if we can.

Thanks! I was thinking that Friday would probably be slower as well but didn't want to assume that the laws of nature (and days off) apply everywhere. Thanks for the link as well - my children are going to love it!

We went on a Friday, but it was during the school year. There were large groups of kids there on trips from their schools, but you might be missing that in August. We loved it so much, and now I'm hooked on the NASA channel here at home. Just don't eat lunch at the same time as everyone else, we messed up on that one.
