I am just trying to save you work and others from misunderstanding...

It doesn't matter if you change the format of the design so that the background is clear...

If you print to a light transfer - all white (or anything lacking color) will be clear.

If you print to a dark transfer - all white (or anything lacking color - even a transparent background) WILL be white. Since the paper itself is white, the only thing that will not be white will be what has been 'inked' by the printer.

So if they print the jpeg version which automatically puts a white background, on a dark transfer will the background be clear? And what about any white in the actual disign? Will the shirt color show thru?
I am just trying to understand dark transfers, cuz all I have ever used is light transfers. Thanks for the help, I want to make sure I understand this.

I here that and I am posting these as png files hopefully when you go to print them they will have a clear background I am not positive about that so let me know when you open them in your program to print if they have a clear background, that way you can put on whatever color shirt you want without cutting! Otherwise I could put them on a colored background of your choice with a border!

So what is your best advise in reference to these type of disigns and all the added extras, would you advise people to use light transfers, so as not to have to cut everything out or would a background color be better?
Sorry if I am bothering you, but I just want them to come out on the shirts nicely.

HI Kelly sorry to bother you with the Damyan ones for the blue shirt I meant I would like it with the back ground colored it. With using the dark shirt transfers it is REALLY white behind it and sticks out funny and using the normal transfers it just makes it all black and white (atleast it did with a christmas design on a red shirt) I really appricate all that you do! Can you add a background to the Damyan Cars and Toystory? THANK YOU SO MUCH
