Yeah there's a lot of new stuff -- from the piddly (like price updates for all the shops and restaurants) to major stuff like reviews of Shrek and Jimmy Neutron and Tchoup Chop as well as changes like the disappeared WWWWest and the incredibibly shrinking Nickelodeon.

There's also a fantasy sequence in which Fly Fly and Barry battle Beetlejuice over the magic address book that contains the home phone numbers of all the Ghostbusters....no, wait. That's a different book.

Yes, I own the 2003 book and have found it to be the only Universal guidebook that seems to present timely information... I really appreciate how Kelly mentioned specific rides that he expected to close soon (and their likely replacements) and that he seems to be much more "in the know" than other writers covering this destination. It's amazing to me that so many guidebooks purport to be "new" and "updated" from year to year and are basically just a re-write of the same material with one or two minor changes... I can't stand that! There are a few WDW guidebooks I refuse to buy anymore because I know more than the people who write them and their "updates" are old news -- and sometimes not even accurate by the time they go to press!!

Anyway, I'm planning to go to Universal in February (if those hotel rates EVER come down!), so it will be great to get the book earlier than January!!

It used to be housed by Snookers and Snookers....sweet candy cookers (not sure if I got the whole name right). But no worries, that store now moved to the old photo shop in Seuss landing. So it's an addition, not a trade out!
