We woke up late, can you blame us? Wed almost been up 24 hours the day before! And instead of feeling like we had to rush, we decided to go to BOMA at the Animal Kingdom lodge for the breakfast buffet. We arrived around 10:45am to the sound of a few of the BOMA girls singing an African song together, each taking a different part. We were seated quickly and had Frunch for the first time. YUM! My favorite thing on this buffet was the African twist on Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. It seemed to have sausage and lots of veggies in a yellow sauce, very tasty. I also loved the bear claws and the pecan rolls. JD liked the waffles and French toast. I was shocked when he agreed to go to this buffet since he is a very picky eater but he said better breakfast than dinner so here we were and he loved it! So much so that we went again on Sunday!
After breakfast we headed over to Epcot where we got me a fastpass for Mission Space. We then went on Ellens energy ride which was nice because it had just begun to rain a little. After Mission Space, where the poor little boy next to me yakked in the barf bags provided, we rode Test Track a bunch of times using the single rider line. They now have a screening room just for the single riders. JD and I ended up in the same car a couple of times. We tried to make a PS for Ohana for Friday night since the weather outlook for Charley made us think parks would be closing but apparently there was a private party that night and they werent taking any more PS which I thought was strange. Before heading back to Coronado for another dip in the pool, we hit Spaceship Earth which is one of JDs favorites. Why? I have no idea. I like it but after a few rides its fairly boring and I find it a bit painful at the end when youre going backwards, hard plastic headrests dont seem to do anything for me. After pool time, we showered, got ready and headed back to Epcot where we ate dinner in America, those chicken sandwiches are great without the cheese and bacon. Then we watched American Vibe which was EXCELLENT! I cant recommend sitting and watching this show enough. Their voices harmonize so well together. We walked through France where I put on the meteorites to even out my skin tone and wandered through Italy and a little bit of Germany. We eventually settled on the Italy Isola for Illuminations! I love this show. I have a hard time picking a favorite but I think I like the music from Illuminations and the Wishes fireworks best. We really took our time walking out of Epcot and took a bunch of fun pictures with the digital camera that I borrowed from my Mom. We got a lot of great shots on this trip! I like the feature of deleting awful pictures!
Went home and went directly to bed since we got the news that Parks are closing at 1pm on Friday so we wanted to get in as much park time as we could.
