Kelly banned?

Not to start rumors, but a little bird told me that Kelly has been banned from the Dis, reportedly without warning or explaination.

If this is true it will be a real loss to this community.

If it isn't true then I've been had and I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Does anyone have any more information?

She was posting yesterday and I certainly hope it isn't true. I have learned so much from her and I think she is a real asset to this board.

I noticed her stickys are gone from the top of this forum..

if she has been banned it is a sad day for the photography forum, the amount of knowledge and help that she contributed, far exceded anything she could possibly have done wrong..

Yikes! I had planned to print the fireworks stuff before our trip in Nov. If she's gone, I will certainly miss her advice and contributions. That stinks.

ETA: Why would the stickys be gone but not her other posts?

perhaps it's easy to wipe out threads started bya person, but not easy to remove individual posts..

The software (or Moderator) may not have the abilty to sort through posts and delete those by a specific user, but killing an entire thread is easy.
In addtion, after reading some things said in another post, those sticky posts might be part of the reason behind the ban.

I'm sure the person who gave me this won't mind me sharing so here is the messsage I got.
I won't say from who, where, when or how.

but Kelly Grannell have been banned from the DIS without warning, without explanation, nothing.

In the interest of honesty and openness:

It is true that Kelly (a "he", btw) will no longer be posting on the DISboards.

This is due to his behavior while posting under this username as well as solicitations, anger issues, personal attacks and profanity while posting under a previous username.

Given the previous history, it's very misleading for him to claim innocence and that this was without warning.

If you have any comments or questions, they need to be addressed to the webmasters at admin@wdwinfo.com.

We will not debate issues related to specific posters on the forum, but I thought you deserved to know the situation. I'm closing this thread now.
