I know a couple of people asked me a while back about the ornament that I had made through Keepsake. I just finally got the pictures uploaded :flower3: When you do a floral preservation they don't use all the flowers, so I decided to have an ornament made. It cost $60 to have it done.

It's in a plastic container and it came with the gold hanging stand. It was at night when I took these shots, so the colors aren't the greatest. There's some of the ribbon inside plus I had them include some of the stephanotis with the Mickey crystals. Its diameter is at 3 1/2 inches and the gold arch is around 12 inches tall.

Thanks, Kendra, I really just got it to put up at Christmas, but I haven't been able to get myself to put it away yet :goodvibes

This is great! I didn't even know this was an option until I read about it from you!

Vanessa, love the ornament! I am gonna get an ornament as well and display it all yr. I love yours by your pic of you & DH. Cute, cute, cute!!!

Oh wow I love that!!!!! I will have to consider that as an extra option!!! :thumbsup2

wow! I think I'll go for this instead of the floral preservation - it looks beautiful!

Thanks for sharing that, Vanessa. I love all the floral preservations but had decided against doing one as it is a bit costly and wouldn't really match our house. I think that I may look into having something like this done, though, if you can do it without the whole preservation. It is beautiful.

Vanessa, that is just beautiful. I am not doing a bouquet Keepsake but would love to do just the ornament. Will they do just the ornament or do you have to have the entire thing done?

Thanks,,
Linda

Vanessa that is so pretty, it came out beautifully!
Wow, Vanessa, it really is lovely!
Vanessa I it is beautiful!!!

Thanks ladies, I was really happy with how it came out :goodvibes

They have a lot of different things, so I would definitely contact them. They also have jewelry boxes and other tabletop displays.

Thanks, it was just the right spot since our cabinet with wedding stuff is full :rotfl: I just have to watch our dog because she likes to play around that stand!

It was definitely worth it since you're already have the preservation done, I hated to have the extra flowers thrown away.

They really do offer a lot of options to fit your needs. Especially if you don't want to spend as much as the regular floral preservation costs :thumbsup2

I don't think I'd put it away either.

It's too beautiful to put away. I would keep it up year round!
I'm sure Kris wouldn't mind if there were a few less wedding mementos around though :rotfl:

It sounds like you can do the other options without the full preservation. On their site it says prices start at $66. Just remember you'll still have the pickup charge from Disney which was around $75 I think. Here's a link to their PDF pricing sheet:
http://www.keepsakefloral.com/pricing/2008-pricing.pdf
I copied a few things off the sheet to show some examples:
Classic Jewelry Box Small $200 Large $390
Classic Jewelry Box Companion Piece Small $90 Large $150
(no flowers/box only)
Table Top Domes Small $260 Medium $450 Large $535
Keepsake Cube Small $98 Medium $430 Large $535
Keepsake Lantern Small $260 Medium $430 Large $535
Ornament with stand Small $44 Large $66
Potpourri Small $65 Large $105
Personal Petals Scented Oils $115

Hey Vanessa,

How does the Preservation work? I really wasn't that into, but I really do like how yours came out. I checked their site and requested a brochure, but it didn't say anything about Disney Weddings, as in I'm not going to be able to ship it to them ;) Did they pick it up for you, for $75? Is that right? From your resort? Did they ship it to you at home once completed?

Slightly confused about how it all works

There are a couple of different options. We had mine taken after our MK shoot, so the photographer just delivered it back to Disney Floral and then Keepsake picked it up from them. I think if you are done at your reception then Disney Floral will usually take it from you there and will have it for Keepsake to pick up. If I'm remembering correctly the fee was $75. This is exclusively for Disney brides since they work directly with Disney Floral.

You have to go online to place your deposit and then let your floral manager at Disney know that you are having it done. They pretty much coordinated the pickup for me. Here's the link about deposits, if you notice there is a special link for Disney brides and it requires $265 in advance.

Here's text from the site about it.
Deposit for Walt Disney World Bride - $265.00
(includes $75.00 pick-up fee from the Disney Florist or your resort - $190.00 deposit + $75 Pick-Up Fee)

They FedExed it to me after everything was done. I sent them a picture a copy of our program to include in my regular display too, so I didn't get my final arrangements until June for my March wedding. Here is my full arrangement (minus the glass cover because I was adjusting something from the shipping):

Wow! I really love it! Thank you so much for the information! I may have to spring for a floral refresher and then get it done after the MK Shoot then.

Does the Deposit apply to the final total?

Thanks for posting that information, Vanessa. I looked on the website, and now am seriously thinking about getting the small jewelry box done. It is pricy, but that is something I would love (I love collecting little boxes) and it would get used. The wall display just wouldn't go with our decor, beautiful as they are!

More money.... :goodvibes:
