Keeping track of your DDP credits while you are there.

Any tips on keeping track of how many of each type of dining credit each member of your party has?

When the kids were little it was easy, but now that the boys are older they'll be going off on their own in the parks a bit, or heading to the POFQ food court, etc. I'm worried they'll run out of credits before our trip is over!

I know dis'ers are known for their outstanding organization and willingness to share tips so............let's hear 'em!

I think when you use your entitlement your receipt shows how many you have left total for your party.

The front desk and resort concierge desk can print out a copy of your entitlements at any time. I would pick up a copy of this each morning. They can also tell you where specifically each point was spent, and even pull up the receipt! This is also super helpful if there are any discrepancies.

I did 2 different things for our trip... I put together a mini-planner, which I purchased a cheap $2 clear photo album (avail at Target etc...) I made a detailed info page for each day (in Photoshop) and at the very bottom corner of the page, I notated what our budgeted meals are for that day:

I also did a check list in Photoshop, so we can check off the actual meals we've used:

All of these were printed at my local photolab on regular photo paper - total cost for the entire book was less than $7.

That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking to do.
I was thinking of giving each kid their own index card to check off what they've used. Your photo shop idea would really kick it up a notch!

Thanks everyone. Didn't know about the design board. Ironically, yesterday my dd and I fashioned cards for everyone in our party. We used Disney stickers to decorate and personalize them. I laminated them but was able to cut our a "window" in the middle of the laminate so we can mark off the dining credits we use. I wish I knew how to post pix here!
