Any ideas for the best way to keep track of tickets, room keys, photocards, etc? Was thinking of a lanyard with a pouch but not sure if that is the best, plus I hate wearing things around my neck. Don't want to be pulling things out of my pockets or backpack either. Any ideas would be welcome.

Well the Lanyard is probably your best bet but you don't like them. I usually just put them in my wallet in my pocket. Another way is a waste pack. I have used one once and it got on my nerves real quick

I was wondering this as well! I was thinking a lanyard with a pouch would be pretty handy. What kind of pouches do people commonly use on their lanyards? Can they be purchased at Disney? I am thinking I better get one that can snap or zip shut! :confused3

You actually don't use your stuff that much once you are IN the parks. I have a lanyard and pouch but once we are in, I throw it in my bag. The only thing you tend to take out alot is your PP card. So I put that in an outside pocket of my bag for easy access.

Yes they sell lanyards with pouches for the specific purpose of KTTW cards at Disney. Last time I was there they had different types.

If you're with a group that's staying together, once you're in the gate its actually not a bad idea to have one person carry all the tickets, makes getting fast passes easier with just one person going to get them. When I go its always me that takes everyone's tickets, I think its because I'm the most trustworthy and reliable of the group. . .or it could be that I'm bossy and the only one with a backpack, its a thin line.

Yes, but if they lose it its off with their head.. Lol I wouldnt trust anybody with my KTTW

I have a small purse with a long strap so it can cross my body. I put all tickets etc. in it. I don't liek things hanging aorund my neck, but can tolerate the strap across my body.

This trip I used an Overland Donner, which had an outside flap with a clip on a string sort of thing. On the clip I kept a Vera Bradley ID holder with my kttwc, pp card, gift card and some backup cash. It was very handy, I could take it out for easy access, but not worry about leaving it on a counter or anything since it was attached to the clip

Overland Donner - you can find these on sale at eBags, zappos, etc for much less. I actually got mine on a sale another DISser posted for only $10. I loved this bag, held alot, even 2 small bottles of water on each side.

Vera Bradley ID Holder - I found mine on eBay. I now use this attached to my key chain at home with my driver's license.

I found great Disney lanyards (with attached zipped pouches) on Ebay and I think it was one of the best purchases I made before our trip! They were so handy and kept our reciepts, KTTK cards, photopass cards, fast passes, and more all easily accessible!

I rock a fanny pack. ;)

I know it's horribly un-fashionable, but by the second day of our first trip I was willing to try one. After I tried it, it was a necessity.

I keep everyone's tickets and I also take all the pictures. It was so nice to be able to put the tickets away or grab out the camera while pushing a stroller (great for trying to quickly capture a memory with three little kids). It was such a hassle to get the camera or tickets out of the backpack because I would have to stop walking, take it off, get out the wallet they were in, etc. By the time I got out the camera, the moment had passed.
