Forgive me if this has been posted, I just tried and something happened. Unless they change it  THE TIMEKEEPER yes The Timekeeper will be open when I'm there Dec. 8-18th! Perhaps many of you are like me and have not seen this little show in years. I'm extremely excited! :teeth:

I found this on the WDW site while looking for EMH hour postings for December. No I'm not one to start rumors!

I have never done this attraction. I was hoping it would be open when we are there.
Thanks,
Kimba :paw:

It didn't say "Open seasonally" by any chance, did it? :scratchin I love this attraction too, but it probably won't open again any time soon. It hasn't been open in quite awhile, and the queue has become a fairly permanent meet-and-greet. :sad2: Still, here's hoping... :goodvibes

I just checked it (I love Timekeeper) and it did say Open Seasonally (as it did for every day in Dec), which to me means don't count on it. :( Well, we can always hope for the best tho, can't we?

It does say open seasonally. I just didn't remember seeing it listed on the calendar like that in previous months. More like they just didn't want to mention it. I will have fingers crossed at any rate and thanks for letting me know it's not a done deal. I am hopeful it will be open as a replacement of sorts for the riverboat being rehabbed. :goodvibes

I feel honoured, I've only visited WDW for two vacations, once in 2000 for the two weeks after thx giving and the timekeeper was open. We visited twice then and really enjoyed. Knowing what I know now, maybe I ould have appreciated it more.

Last time we went to weeks with thx giving in the middle (no i wouldnt' do that again either) it was closed and all of us were disappointed. Its a great attraction, and we were hoping it would be open when we visited this time (in 9 days) . Looks like we are going to be disappointed again. From what I have heard about the Stitch ride (formerly known as Alien Encounter) i would have prefered they invested the money into the maintenance costs of keeping Timekeeper open and left AE alone.

It says "open seasonaly" for October too, I think. As far as I know, they always put that on every day.

I see that Carousel of Progress is also one of those "open seasonally" rides. Haven't seen that one in maybe 20 years. My kids of course have never seen it. Hope its operating at Christmas.

It may only be open during the busy Christmas - New Years period.

Well, CoP was open last week, so there's always hope for Timekeeper! :wave2:

CoP is almost always open for part of the day, while Timekeeper is not. As posted above, it's pretty much a permanant Meet & Greet area now.

When we did the MVMCP in 2002, they were using Timekeeper que area to take the free photos. It wasn't open at all that year when we were there.
