Hi everyone

I asked this in another area of the forum and it was suggested I post it again in this area as I am bound to get loads of useful tips. I apologise if this question has been asked loads of times before, but here goes:-

We are staying in the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort hotel in the Epcot area. According to my brochure, "ice machines are available on each floor of each building". Is the ice free of charge or do we have to pay for it?

Also, am I correct in thinking that a refridgerator is not included in the room unless we pay an extra charge to have one? Is there any reason why we can't collect a load of ice and keep a carton of milk or cans of drink in a bowl with the ice in our room, rather than bother with paying to have a refridgerator?

Any tips or advice or information on these subjects are very welcome. Many thanks.

Ice is free..although it's the smaller pieces, so it melts pretty quick. We bring food plastic bags to put the ice in, for less mess. We also pack (we actually check it with snacks) a collapsible cooler (from Walmart)..although it doesn't have to be collapsible, if you fill it for the ride home..that's the route out dirty laundry seems to go home, when we over buy souvernirs and need room in the regular suitcase.

Ice is free. Refrigerators carry a daily fee. ($10 or $15, can't remember). A collapsible cooler, or a disposable syrofoam cooler would probably suit you better.
