........Good night..
I am glad about 99% of the people on here are not like you and know there are a number of reasons why someone might have to get up from there spot. and like I said I hope you never have a disability that makes it so you have to although after reading what you have posted maybe you having a disability where you do have to get up to use the bathroom might give you some compassion for other people.

I hope you did have a good night and are not up all night like I am dealing with medical problems and that you are well rested for work tomorrow, because I sure am not, but I will be at Disney this weekend and I will be going with a friend that will save a spot for me so that I can go to the bathroom. and I will not feel bad about it at all.

I am up all night dealing with medical problems as i am a nurse on a night shift....your manapulation is quite nasty ,i think we all know that im not really talking about genuine people that need a break esp a toilet break!!..im talking about people coming back just before the start

As a nurse you should know that not all people (especially ones with serious bladder or digestive disabilities) cannot time their restroom habits like normal people can.

oh so now it is ok for people to go to the bathroom you never said this before in fact, you said it was not. like I said I hope you never have a medical problem that because you need to get up every 15 or so minutes because it sucks. I am sorry that you did not get to the parade or whatever early enough to get a spot. I go down about once a month and I have always seen people saving places but I have never had a hard time finding a spot.

Firstly okay everyone lets be nice - the Dis is a place for Disney chat, Fun and advice.

It is not a place to cast aspersion or down play anyone medical condition or disability - what you're saying, you might not think is offence; but as you don't have the condition you might inadvertently come across as insensitive.

And on the other side, Secondly people have the right to their own opinions that might not match up to yours. So even if you don't agree you need to be respectful of that fact, and in the end agree to disagree.

So now that's out of the way and we all feel the love of the Dis and Disney again, its time for my opinion lol :rotfl:.

I have a ASD DS who finds waiting in one spot for a long time not just "Hard" it is psychically and emotional a problem -but as we are going as a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 child) I would, if he needed a break, have one of the adult take him off with the remaining 3 staying put.

I just think commonsense is needed, if it's a must do on your holiday try to get there a bit earlier. The route is long and I've always found in Frontier Land slightly less crowded .

Or if you are holding spots you hold them for the fewest people possible, so if there 6 of you, and a person needs to step out do it in ones and twos max as this will minimize the empty spaces your are holding so other aren't perturbed when looking for a spot.

Great well now I've sorted this mess out, next stop World Politics :cheer2::banana::cheer2::banana::cheer2:

Give me a break. You said in your own post that if someone leaves their spot to use the restroom, they should lose it. Now the restroom is ok? Reminder: When someone specifically asked about leaving for the restroom, this was your response:

.......yes it is up for grabs ,its no different from moving a parked car, someone will take that spot[/QUOTE

This makes your stance on seat saving related to the restroom clear.

You made it crystal clear throughout this thread that it didn't matter if you had to go the washroom or get up to stretch your legs, etc... gone is gone.

So no. I don't really know what you're talking about. Are you now saying you agree there are times when saving is okay?

Because WDW does not have a policy regarding saving seats at their events and because the OP has left this discussion, closing.
