Keeping Disney a Secret

Either way, it will be fun. But I'm not telling them yet, waiting this long is almost painful! [/B]

I say, wait until the very last minute when you drive up!!!

I remember the look on our kids' faces a few years ago when we drove up to the Universal Studios entrance and surprised them... DS (a sometimes 'hard to please on vacations' teenager) kept saying "no way, no way!" I think they'l feel the same way when we surprise them with MK this time.

When I was 9 years old, we went to California to visit some of my mom's family. Driving through LA, I kept seeing these signs that said "Disneyland", and we kept following them. I'm yelling at my mom, "hey, Disneyland's close!" and sure enough, we drive right up to the front gate!

And it's closed.

Just like some old movie. ;)

I finally made it to Disneyland when I was 30. :earsgirl:

Anyway, I'm having a hard time keeping it secret. My 8yo daughter mentions something Disney at least once a day...it makes me wonder if she suspects. At least I know she's not going to be disappointed.
