Keeping camera dry in summer rains

I asked this on the Themeparks board but haven't heard ideas yet so I'm posting here as well. You all helped me awhile back, with a great neoprene neckstrap for my Canon S31s. I hope you can help me with my next connundrum as well

I plan to carry my camera hanging from my (new, comfy) neck strap but without the case. I"m wondering if you have ideas on how to keep it dry there. We're going in August and expect a bit of rain.

might be a little bit of overkill size wise since they are really for dslrs but the price is right.http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=itemlist&cat1=Cases&cat2=Cases%20for%20Still%20Cameras%20and%20Gear&cat3=Camera%20and%20Lens%20Rain%20%26%20Snow%20Covers&sf=Price&Startat=1 i have used them with my canon dslr and they last a few uses, no problem, actually i am still on the first one and have had it for over a yr. . usually you snug them up around the lens then i put a filter or hood to hold it but don't know if you have anything like that for your s3 you can make them out of a ziploc bag but really these are cheap anyway, a little thicker and have the snugger rope plus at least on a camera with a removable eyepiece you look through the eyepiece,not through plastic. i tried the ziplock bag, it works but for $3 not really worth the bother of messing with it

The simplest and cheapest thing would be to carry a gallon size baggie to put it in while it is raining.

Thank you both. I"m looking at adorama (hadn't thought of that) and at WillCAD's engineered ziploc (which I also hadn't thought of: either ziploc [thanks!] or an engineered ziploc.

I knew you all would have ideas!
