Are there any reasonably price places near MCO or WDW were you could park a car for your visits. We are planning on going several times a year sometimes for a couple of weeks, I was just wondering if it would be cheaper than renting a vehicle to store one in the area.

I don't know the answer to your question,
You might get more response if you posted this question on the Transportation Board here on the DIS
Good Luck

I want to start by saying I hope you don't get offended by my comment...When I read this it made me think of the Stroller and Fridge Swaps on the Budget Board...How cool would that be to swap out a car..just pass the keys to the next family and the car would be on Disney Property the whole time and ready for you when you return...LOL

uhoh!!! I can see it now. John is going to have to get a bigger warehouse for those "owner's car" rentals!:rotfl:

It's an interesting thought, and I suspect you could use one of those self storage facilities if you really wanted to... a lot of them just have big garage door type openings and would probably be big enough to fit a small car.

That said, though... by the time you figure in the cost of the car, insurance, and storage I suspect that you'd be better off just renting a car, even if you need to rent it for several weeks. Plus you'd have to figure out how to go between the storage facility and the airport twice each trip... probably a cab and that would just add another expense.

My brother owns a Condo on st. Augustine Beach... he considered leaving a mminivan there when he upgraded his. He factored in insurance, upkeep and that fact it would sit unused for 2 month at a time and determined that it wasn't feasable. The last thing you want on vacation is car problems.
