Keep Le Cellier, or change for special night out?

Okay, DH and I will have one night that just the two of us can go out to dinner during our upcoming trip. My dad will be watching our 3 kids that night. We currently have a reservation at Le Cellier, but not sure if I want to keep this with all the recent reviews and it becoming a 2 credit place. We already have a reservation for Yachtsman later in our trip for a family dinner. Any other suggestions for a nice romantic dinner (preferably steak or seafood)? We do not have park hoppers and this is our epcot day, but we would be willing to go to a resort. We are on the DxDP, so we have a few credits to burn, so a 2 credit place is okay.

First, it is great that you have a special night out. Second, it is impossible to know what you would like. But, we have enjoyed Le Cellier many times.

DW and I went to Le Cellier our last trip and thought it was one of the best meals we have ever had in wdw. i would think that it is worth keeping but if you are looking for something different maybe try the Californa Grill or Artist Point.

For seafood, how about Flying Fish on the Boardwalk? Easy to get to from Epcot, or to go back after dinner if you want to have a drink and watch Illuminations together. Or stay on the Boardwalk and enjoy the entertainment options there.

It's always just the 2 of us, but on our last trip, for our special night, we dined at Narcoossee and we timed it perfectly to also see the Electric Water Pageant. We loved it and it's the one place that hubby keeps saying he wants to go to again - although we decided our next trip is all about new places.

We did dine at LeCellier and enjoyed it, but I just don't feel it's 2 credit worthy. We felt that it was rather cramped. I think I was actually sitting closer to the people at the tables on each side of me than I was to my hsuband who was at the same table. It didn't feel like a romantic dinner for 2.

If you are going to spend two credits, and don't mind going to a resort, skip Le Cellier, and go to Jiko instead.
