Keep checking those airfares!

DH & I booked through WDW travel for our airfare at a great price with AirTran. DD is traveling different dates and booked separately. Our best airport for price and convenience is Quad Cities out of Moline IL. Her Airtran flight sat at $147 one way for weeks & weeks. It jumped $20, so she booked rather than take any chances and it was soon way over $200.

Today it dropped to $94! She did get a credit voucher.

Even with these crazy gas prices, good deals can be found! We are traveling in September.

Nice, when I keep a eye on my airfare I keep getting depressed b/c it keeps going up and up...........

I agree - the past few years we have driven to Disney because for a family of 4 it was cheaper. However, with the price of gas - and DH's knee surgery, we started watching airfare. Last week, flights were down to $84 each way but then went back up to $168 each way.....luckily they went down again this week and we grabbed them, so now we are flying!

The fares were higher to MCO in the past from NYC but not crazy.

They started at $102 for one way. Higher but not insane. Howver within hours the $102 had jumped to $127 on "prime time" flights.

I was able to grab $102 all around by flying out of JFK and into LGA. I dont like LGA but I figured that a) I save $125 on 5 tickets and b) since I was landing and getting my bags and leaving LGA wouldnt be that bad, I still would get to enjoy T5 at JFK on the way to MCO.

We're also flying out of Moline...however...ours just keep going up!! Good thing I booked back in Jan. Didn't get that great of a price...but WAY BETTER than it is now!!

Booked my DD and future DSIL on Sunday the 25th to WDW from PHL on SW check airfare tonight and it went down and I saved them 104.00 on the roundtrip. Only change was the flight going down kept the same on the return. She is one happy kid. They travel late June.
