Keep, alter, replace

Interested in your thoughts. Taking a look at each of the four WDW parks, which ride/attraction would you keep exactly as it is, which ride/attraction would you keep mostly the same but just change slightly, and which ride/attraction would you completely replace and how would you replace it?


Magic Kingdom
Keep: Jungle Cruise - from the queue to the ride, I have absolutely no complaints here
Alter: Splash Mountain - for the most part, I love this ride. However, if you are going on it and the line is long, that is likely because it is hot outside. Let's put more of the queue under a cover so we aren't all standing outside in the hot Florida sun.
Replace: Stitch's Great escape - aside from the music, I like nothing about this ride. It can be a cute ride about Stitch or something completely different. Don't really care, but I would not keep anything about the current ride.


Epcot
Keep: Gran Fiesta Tour - yes, you read that right. I love that ride, love that it is inside the pyramid, love that you go by the volcano, love smelling the restaurant as you sail by, love Donald, Jose, and Panchito. Just love it. And I know I'm in the minority and I like that because the line is never long
Alter: Imagination - This might be cheating because it is more than a small alter, but I'd alter it back to how it originally as with Dreamfinder
Replace: Mission Space - I'd take it back to an updated Horizons.


DHS
Keep: Tower of Terror
Alter: One Man's Dream - still love the museum part but hate that sometimes I can watch Walt's life story and other times I can't. Bring back the video about Walt 100% of the time and stop with the sneak peaks or whatever they keep bringing in.
Replace: Star Wars Launch Bay - bring back Magic of Disney Animation and maybe add in a few rides back there that were taken out of Magic Kingdom (rides like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Snow White's Scary Adventures)

Keep: Expedition Everest - It and Tower of Terror are the best themed rides in the parks.
Alter: Primeval Whirl - like the idea of a coaster here, but not this one. Let's take away the spinning aspect and add in a few drops and faster twists. It can be similar to Barnstormer but longer, which would fit in with the area but be able to accommodate a larger percentage of guests because of height restrictions and the nausea factor.
Replace: Dinosaur. This could have been done so much better. As is, it is not fun and is pretty scary for many younger children. Let's get rid of that and put something else in.

The "keeps" are tough, because there's lots of attractions I'd leave as is. But I'll maybe pick those that some suggest as replacing.

MK:
Keep: I'm with you on Jungle Cruise. It's old school, but leave it be.
Alter: Space Mountain. I'd like to see the guts replaced with the newer, smoother track used on 7DMT and EE. I like the ride and the concept; its just too rough.
Replace: Stitch

Epcot:
Keep: I actually like the Pixar Short Film Festival. Perhaps rotate the films, but I found it very enjoyable.
Alter: Test Track - The mechanics of the ride are fine and I'm ok with the design a car aspect recently implemented, but the ride has lost its theming. Bring back the "test" aspects.
Another Alter: Universe of Energy: time to modernize
Replace: Wonders of Life - Do something either with the building or replace. Too valuable a piece of real estate to let sit like that.

DHS
Keep: Indiana Jones - I enjoy it every time.
Alter: Great Movie Ride - Time to retire the gangster and maybe replace a couple of the scenes. I don't mind the Alien ridethrough, but I've noticed it scares kids
Replace: Frozen in the Hyperion Theater. The new attraction in Epcot should suffice.

AK:
Keep - Flights of Wonder
Alter: It's a Bugs Life - Not a bad concept, but a redo would be nice
Replace: Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama. Just get rid of it - doesn't belong at Disney.

MK

Keep: Splash Mtn. I hope that ride never changes. I love how it combines a dark slow ride with a thrill ride. One of my absolute favorites.
Alter: Buzz Light year. Also one of my favorite attractions I just feel that it can be brought into 2016. Update and plus it, and it would be great. Its kind of showing its age
Replace: Stitch's "great" Escape. There has to be something better that they can put there. Anything

EPCOT

Keep: Spaceship Earth. In my opinion one of the best attractions in all of WDW.
Alter: Test Track. It doesn't have to go back to the way it was before but update to something new and interesting.
Replace: The shuttered Wonders of Life pavilion. Bring back something awesome in there, you can't just let a huge building go to waste.

HS

Keep: Tower of Terror. Classic Disney imagineering and storytelling here folks. Cant beat it.
Alter: Great Movie Ride. I love it dearly, but it would be cool to get some new scenes in there
Replace: Most of the Shows. It is time for new shows. wouldn't mind keeping Indiana Jones. Besides that, scrap em. Come up with something fresh and new. And I dont mean fantasmic. NEVER TOUCH FANTASMIC lol

Keep: Mount Everest. Love the theming, the queue, and the ride itself.
Alter: Dinosaur. Lets update it to include maybe some new technology to enhance the ride
Replace: Refiki's Planet watch. I dont even know what goes on back there. All I know is I went there once, looked around for 5 mins, then left. lol
