We woke up early this morning surprisingly. My dress and Alans suit had to be taken to Bell Services as they were to be picked up by Carolyn Allens. My dress is going to be cleaned and preserved in the Florida and then shipped back to the UK, giving me lots and lots of room for more shopping.
We caught an early bus to MGM Studios and managed to be one of the first in line for The Tower of Terror. Having read reports on this I sort of knew what to expect and teased Alan about what was going to happen. Our seats were in the first row and the drops were great we both really enjoyed this. Next up was the Rock and Roller Coaster, again we ended up first in line and at the front of the car. This was a great ride another one we wanted to go on again. We watched the Beauty and the Beast stage shown this is one of my favourite films so I was really looking forward to it. We got a great seat and the show was fabulous. Next up The Magic of Disney Animation, we both enjoyed this and it was amazing to see the animators at work. The Voyage of the Little Mermaid was good too, I seem to get wet on everything though.
Alan enjoyed the Backstage Pass and managed to get himself a Binford Tools t-shirt from the Home Improvement show. I loved looking at the 102 Dalmatians set too. After this we got an ice cream we had the Mickey head one, yum, yum. The Studio Backlot Tour was good especially Catastrophe Canyon Dont sit on the left had side if you dont like water. The Hunchback of Notre Dame show was good, Alan especially liked the guy who came on first and did all kinds of tricks. Again I think we got good seats and had an excellent view of the show. We met with Alans family at 4pm for Dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby. Alan had grouper and I had another veggie pasta dish, we shared a pudding but we cant remember what it was though. We were given our pass for Fantasmic here.
We then looked around the shops until about 5.45pm, in the embroidery shop called Celebrity 5 & 10 we purchased a frame which they engraved with Our Disney Wedding 2000 and put in an embroidered picture of Mickey and Minnie in wedding attire and they also embroidered Kaylee & Alan 1st November 2000. They also did here ears, towels, dressing gowns and Guest of Honour badges too. We met up with Alans family again and went to get our seats for Fantasmic. I didnt really know what to expect from this show just that I had heard it was great. We sat about 6 rows from the back just to the left of centre. The show was absolutely brilliant Alan was snap happy on his camera and I just loved the Princess and the boat at the end. Everyone was really impressed with this, Alan and myself decided we would definitely do this again the following week.
It was packed leaving Fantasmic, I think it holds 6,000 seated. We said our goodbyes to Alans family who were off to Naples the following week and we caught our bus back to the CBR. We nipped to the food court and got a hot chocolate and watched some TV before bed.
