Kate Gosselin as a coupon blogger?!?

This just makes me laugh. They spotted her using coupons at bed bath and beyond?!? Uh, who doesn't use a coupon at BBB? And "one time" she saved half on her grocery bill. Hopefully (surely) she is just ghost writing.

It looks like she will be blogging for couponcabin, which has been around for a long time. I'm guessing that they're just looking to cash in on her fame to drive traffic to their website. I seriously doubt that Kate has any idea what DND, YYMV, or OYNO even means. I don't know how anyone could take her seriously for any real coupon advice.

Actually before her fame she was super into coupons...when they did those short specials on them in the beginning before the series she would show how she saved a ton of money.

When they moved into there new house (not this one but the one before or maybe before that) she got really mad at Jon because he went out to by some stuff for the house and he didnt use a coupon. She went to the drawer and pulled out a coupon for like 10% off and told him to get the receipt and she would go to the store and get her money back.

Actually that incident was with this newest house (or there were two similar incidents). I forget how much this house cost, but it's obviously a crazy amount and she was making such a huge fuss over a coupon for $5 or something.

I remembered two or three years ago there was this episode in which she said she could bought grocery for whole family with less than an incredible amount. I think it was $70-$80,but I don't remember. She also said they eat organic. I discussed with some of my friends who are quite coupon savy and they said they couldn't do it. At that time I still liked her a lot.......

okay, I am obviously wasting time. I just went back more than 2 years of facebook records to find that on March 15th, 2009, I wrote "can't believe the family of John and Kate plus 8 only spend $150 on grocery every week. And they eat organic! I need to go shopping with Kate."

I never watched the show so my perception of her might be less informed than some. It struck me as funny from what I've seen of her.

Kate's been a couponer for years, so this doesn't surprise me at all. From what i've heard, she's quite savvy at it.

I also find it funny just because you have a nice house doesn't mean you don't find ways to save money.

I will be giving the blog a shot

Oh my impression of her had nothing to do with house size. I've seen less than one entire episode, but she came across as a high-maintenance shrew/diva so I figured she'd think ad matching was beneath her.

I love couponing, but this might be enough to make me stop. Yes, I'm a Kate-Hater.
