KASIKS Please don't leave!!

I hope she doesn't get upset with me for posting, but I really want Kasiks to know how much we love her and would miss her companionship , pirate partnership , and fireworks mastership if she follows through on her plans to quit vmk!

I can't give many details in part because I don't want to breach confidentiality, and in part because I don't know everything, so please don't bug her to fill in the gaps.

She has had problems recently with what we might call a stalker, causing her to stress and take some pretty drastic measures to get rid of them. This was recently.

Tonight I got a message saying she is leaving vmk because someone came in her room and took her credits from her kiosk without permission and she doesn't even know the girl. PLEASE don't offer advice here, but I will say to anyone setting up a credit exchange -- always block your room entrance and don't turn on the machine until the person receiving credits is ready. No more needs to be said on that here.

I will not guess at the circumstances or any possible conversation but know it's possible the girl just "happened on it" and ran in delight. I don't know the amount of credits Kasiks had in the machine but know with her sizable trades she does as well as other circumstances, it could have been significant.

Kasiks you have become a good friend to me and I just can't bear to see you go! You're one of few who seek me out in my rooms or wherever, and who else (besides Mad4WDW) can I sign on in the morning and say "Good after ### to you!" (### = noon)

I know you are a woman of principal, and this may have been the last straw of recent disappointments, however if you are down and out because you were transfering a very large amount of credits, I will give you some of mine so you can at least get some costumes next week. I don't have much, especially considering I'm buying for four with less than 100K, but I would be happy to donate 5K if you will change your mind about quitting!

I'm not expecting anyone else to follow in my footsteps, that's not the purpose of me posting this. But if anyone else might have some words of encouragement, please let her know here.

This is your decision of course, but know that you're cared for. I love my cross cultural friendship and hate to see it gone!

Kasiks, I may have met you through my trade thread, but when we chatted in your room that night, and every time since, it has been wonderful.

Granted I don't know of your situation either, but if there is a stalker that is at least part of your reason for thinking of quitting, please know (as many here on DIS know), that I too have had a stalker/harrasser. It has gone on for months, it is the same one person, and occurs on both VMK and sadly, here on DIS as well.

MANY things can be done to help!! These things have helped me be able to continue playing VMK, and even continue to post here on DIS. If you would like, I would be happy to share some of these things that can help. But as my stalker is here on DIS, I would suggest we do it through PM.

Knowing of your many sizable trades with me, I do hope it was not a large amount you lost, although any loss through a "hit and run" is indeed painful.

Know that I too, will willingly give credits as a means of hoping to help in some small way with convincing you there ARE good reasons to stay! They are called friends, and far outweigh the "bad elements" that exist in the game.

Hey Kasiks I first met you through a trade and you was then are a really nice and honest trader! Then we became friends and I don't know you as well as i would like to! But I too would like to say that you truly are a FRIEND and would hate to see you go! Please if there is anything I can do...please just let me know and I would be happy to help. And it is truly a Bummer that someone would do that you ...when as I said you are a truly nice person. So let me say that friends stay together through thick in thin. So know that I too would be happy to help you out with some credits to help you get some of those new costumes!! I do hope that you know that we do care about you and we are here for you!

Kasiks, I know that we haven't been friends long. But you are a great person, and I am looking forward to a birthday party to share with you! It was great to find a unique connection with someone, and I'd hate to see that connection gone.

Well, I dont need credits because I dont have a quest kiosk on my new character so I still have all my credits for Halloween ...

I had to do trades for credits with my kasiks character and I did a trade with a great dis trader before the problem occured so I did not lose a lot of credits (maybe for some it is but not for me ... )

What really make me want to leave is the fact that I dont understand how that stuff happen to me and now I feel myself totally stupid in VMK ..

Maybe instead, I should make a quest with credits as prize to curse that girl

Well...there was once someone who was playing for quite a long time, and one day she went into another room to trade many of her rare with her DD, but instead ended up trading all her rare to a complete stranger (who took it and ran). So, it happens -- this person felt completely stupid (trust me, I know). Things happen... you're only human. You made a mistake -- but one which you will probably never make again.

I'm sorry to hear about your stalker. It seems that many people get them. I've even had a couple of them.
But, Please don't leave. And please don't feel as if you're stupid. You're not. Everyone makes mistakes once in a while. You're human. You're allowed to make them.
It's also a sad fact of this world that some people will take advantage if they even think they can.

I'm happy that you did get to keep all your credits for Halloween. That's a bright side to hold on to. Not to mention the friends that you have made in VMK. Don't let a couple of bad apples chase you away.

Well I'd rather wish blessings on you than curses on the girl, but October tends to be full of them in itself and what goes around, comes around. I'm glad you don't feel it was a terrible loss, though I can't imagine your new character having built up as much as you'd like if you had all of Kasiks credits waiting to trade her. My offer still stands.
