Those people who think eggs are murder...would be VEGANS not vegetarians.

Among others, they could also be fruitarians, or natural hygenics.

But either way, being a vegan doesn't necessarily mean that they think eggs are murder. Many people go veg for reasons other than animal cruelty.

I thought it would be weird listing fruitarians and natural hygenics as well. I assumed that you would understand what I meant. Being any type of vegetarian doesn't mean that we think the killing of animals is murder.

I was a vegan for years. I never thought eggs were murder. I just thought they were icky to be honest with you. I don't tend to eat things that come from the ****** (that word is blocked, but I think you know what I mean) of an animal.

BTW, I consider anyone who calls eating eggs to be murder to be ignorant on animal physiology. the eggs you eat are not fertilized, and would be laid anyway. they would go to waste if someone did not eat them.

I'm going to become a vegan as soon as I move out, because my parents won't allow it while I'm living under their roof. But I don't think that eggs are murder - I just think it's disgusting because you're basically eating a chicken's regular menstruation.

No I completely agree, I was just saying that as a vegetarian...as they used in their quote do eat eggs, that's all I was trying to say.

Out of meat, I only really like poultry, like chicken and turkey.
Ground beef is okay sometimes, but other than that I hate meat.

I want to become a vegetarian mainly for the fact that I'm against animal cruelty, but also just because I'm not a fan of meat.

I never thought about it like that before - that's very true. However, I guess the way the milking is done, and the additives in milk, has an impact on my reasons too.

I love cheese too... that could definitely pose a problem. I guess there is always soy cheese, though.

The Oh Natural! beef soy stuff, I find really unbearable. I wretch every time I try to eat it. But I have these veggie meatballs from a different company, that I love, and my meat-and-potatoes brother likes better than the real thing. I guess it all depends on the brand.

I can't get enough of the fake chicken though- it's really good.

Yeah I usually only have the fake chicken from Boca...or the boca burgers. I prefer the fake chicken stuff too, it's really good!

I have never tried Boca chicken products- I just stick to Schneider's Oh Natural! I had a Boca ''beef'' burger once and it turned me right off. Maybe I should give ''chicken'' a chance.

wow i didn't expect this to be such an issue. on the egg thing i was making a joke about the extremist animal rights activists not an assumption about all vegans or vegetarians etc.

Yeah definatly give the chicken a chance, it's really good...but not the spicy chicken...because I love spicy...but HATED that.
