karr's dna does not match

Was it on these boards that I read someone thought he knew secret things about the murder from JonBenet's mother. Maybe she wanted her name cleared badly enough to tell this freak that was e-mailing her. :confused3I think he "came forward" to get out of trouble in Bangkok.

I too was wanting closure for the family, How sad!!! :sad2: They better lock him up even if it wasn't him or he will end up hurting someone!!!

I just read on Yahoo they they are not charging him with the murder. They better charge him for fals confession or something. What a weirdo.

wth? This newest revelation only confirms that there was ALOT more going on than meets the eye. This case is looking even more sinister than it originally was.....Lord, all I can think about it what that little girl was going through in her final minutes. This seems like something we will NEVER learn the truth to. Only 2 people will ever know what REALLY went on, JonBenet and the Higher Power upstairs.

From what I understand, he has been emailing the Journalism Prof at CU-Boulder and some others close to the case for months (if not over a year) concerning the case. This all started happening long before his arrest in Thailand.

His "press conference confession" might have been motivated by a desire to be extradited but by that point US officials were already on their way to pick him up.

As far as the "secret details" it has never been very clear what those details are exactly. But given the massive amount of people that have been fired from working on the case, the number of books written, and the number of people who have investigated every little detail ---- secrets are hard to keep when you get that many people involved.

A number of reasons:

His 15 minutes of fame.
To get a free trip home
.
Because he's sick, and wants someone to stop him before he does kill a child.
He is so obsessed with the case, he now really thinks he did do it.

You can't begin to try to understand someone that is that sick. I do hope he goes to jail though. He is not right, and shouldn't be left out to do sick things to children.

As I said before in two other threads, he got more fame and attention in one week than 5 celebrities get in their entire career. The media in this country has no shame and put this sick freak in front of every news and TV camera they could find. It seems, we the American public are held hostage in a case like this and have no choice, other than to turn of the media completely. It seems the news media is always looking for another "OJ Simpson" style of story and would love to have another circus like that.

Who gets to pay for his first class airfare and all the security to bring him back to the States? He doesn't have a dime to his name according to reports and it looks like the Tax payers get soaked again.

Now that there is no DNA evidence and charges are dropped, will people admit he is just a crazy nut who pbbly DID do something bad in Thailand or wherever he was and rather face charges in the US than Thailand. He does need to have a mental evaluation though.

the man is still wanted on Child Pornography charges in California. As a taxpayer, I will happily pay for airfare and security to put a child pornographer in jail.

Supposedly, he went to Thailand to get a sex change. I guess it's cheap there. :confused3

Call me crazy, but the last thing I'm bargain-hunting for is a sex change operation!! :rotfl:

I'm disappointed his DNA didn't match. I was really hoping this was the end.

So, then, he'll be on trial for the other charges (not related to JBR) and not JBR?

I imagine he'll now get sent back to California where other unrelated charges are pending. To put in bluntly, the guy is a pervert. Just not the pervert they are looking for in this particular case.

I'm not surprised, but part of me was hoping that the Ramsey case would be solved.

I agree.

I was thinking the same thing you were and maybe Thailand is the "Walmart of sex change" operations. I wonder if they advertise with a smilie face and a low price guarantee? :teeth:

You're not the only one who is disapointed that he isn't the one who did the killing. I heard Greta Van Sustren on Fox news is angry that she can't milk this story for a year. Her and Geraldo Rivera might actually have to get real jobs or something.

I heard that the DA in Boulder knew that John Karr most likely didn't do it (among other things he was with his family for Christmas in 1996 thousands of miles away from Boulder!), but that she was worried that he was hurting thai schoolgirls so had him brought back to the US.

Not that it's wrong to protect children in Thailand, but I think this in addition to the Kobe Bryant case really makes the Colorado judicial system look like a bunch of dunderheads.

The guy is a perv. :furious: :furious:

I watched Larry King Live last night, there was an informant by the name of Wendy Hutchens. She shared some tapes of conversations that she had with Karr which were very disturbing. :sad2: :sad2:

For anyone interested~http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/larry.king.live/
Just scroll down to find that specific show, right above the show with Sheryl Crow.

I was certain right from the very beginning that he was not involved in this case.. His "confession" made no sense and there were enough holes in the story and so-called "evidence" to drive a Mack truck through..

Basically it's been a total waste of time and money..

It's a shame because I'm sure the family would like for it to be over once and for all..

I believe I read that he conversed (via email) with this professor for nearly seven YEARS!

I also read an article about the two (almost three, one is apparently nearly complete) documentaries this professor made for British TV about the JonBenet case. Seems the professor has been an adamant supporter of the parents (especially when they were/are? under suspicion for the murder) and had worked with some of the investigators on the case. My guess is that HE knew some information and either "led" Karr to some of it or told it to him to help clear someone else's name.

I totally agree with you, with so much info available on the internet, in books, in documentaries, television there can't be many "secrets" left.

He was also obsessed with the Polly Klaas abduction/rape/murder, eventually moving his family to her hometown to be close to the events. He's a sicko. Reminds me of that Practice episode where the guy confesses to being a serial murderer for the attention.

I think he wanted to be infamous.
