Karla Fontain vs Randy Chapman Photo?

I am debating about which photographer to use and who has the best packages. I have spoken to Randy Chapman, he is very nice and prices are great for what you get but it looks like you only get the tradition wedding albums. After veiwing a couple other photographers including Karla's I am finding how different thier styles are. I like what I saw on Karla Fontain's website. Can anyone share with me her package pricing and what is included? Also does she do those digigraphic bound photo albums that I am seeing at all the bridal shows?

I am not sure what albums she uses. I think her work is very nice. I decided to go with Amy Pezzicara (www.pezzphoto.com) from Tampa. Her work is beautiful. Anyways, if you PM me, I will send you the info that Karla emailed me. Good luck with your choice!

I think you can do upgraded albums with Chapman - look at the story book albums

We used Patken (http://www.patkenphotographer.com) and we loved our photos. While we didn't do an album, I can tell you that there are plenty of people who will make a digital album for you, if you have the masters of your photos in the right format (RAW). Both Randy and Karla do a good job, you'll just need to decide what style is most important for you!

randy also offers digital albums for additional $, if you do a search there was another post regarding digital albums.

were using randy chapman for our march 21st wedding & he is just great, we did our engagement session with him too. our package was affordable & includes alot.

Unlimited images shot during event both in color and B/W.
* Convenient Online Proofing for you and your families.
* A Complete set of 4x6 First Edition Prints in a presentation box.
* Custom designed DVD set with all images (“negatives”) for printing.
* A Second Photographer to photograph your day.
* Pre-Wedding Bridal or an Engagement Session with a full set of 4x6 First Edition Prints. (Engagement/Bridal sessions outside of Orlando area will be billed a travel fee)

If you want the prices and packages feel free to PM me! I chose to go with her over Randy purely for style reasons. I adore her photojournalistic style and she has a really great eye. She is also a darling to deal with!

I adore Karla's work, but we couldn't afford her price.

Randy includes a traditional album in his package, and you can upgrade to a digital album. Last I knew Karla also offers both album types, but but are at an additional cost.
