Sending lots of Pixie Dust your way. Hope things work out and you can still come.
Thanks everyone :goodvibes I hope we'll be able to swing it too. My friend Annie and her dd with still be using my DVC if I can't go so I'll send her your way. I'll know for sure the week before we're suppose to leave. Nothing like cutting it close :sunny:

It's getting closer.

Scotty went back to work last night. I dropped him another reminder about our group being there, and he said he hopes that he is working. He knows we were a lot of fun last year.

I really want to go!!!! Any ideas on who the pianomen will be for the 2nd?

I met with dd's teacher and things are looking better, but she won't give the ok until right before Thanksgiving. If we can't go for the whole thing, I'm thinking I'll go down Thursday night and come home Sunday night, so I'll still be able to go. I'm hoping for the whole vacation, but atleast I'll be able to meet you guys. I had a few other things going on, but was able to straighten them out, so the only thing holding us back now is dd's teacher. :maleficen :teacher: :drinking1

I should be able to stop by for about 30 minutes, before the smoke gets to me. Always a fun place.

Is smoking still permitted there??

Hi Dan. It will be nice to see you again.

Yes, smoking is still allowed at Jellyrolls.

I'm another one who is really bothered by smoke Dan...it should take about 30-45 minutes before I am completely stuffed up!! Hopefully a big dose of allergy meds and decongestant will help. Hope you can make it for even a short time!!!

Whoa - thanks for the tip!!! I hadn't thought about that since smoking is mostly banned in NY bars.

Great! I love pinatas :rotfl2:

Okay, I know I'm getting on in years but.....are you thinking the teacher would make a good pinata??? I've had a few I felt the exact same way about if that's the case. The whole walk softly, carry a big stick theory sounds good when it comes to pinatas!!

I'll try to be there!! I generally have to work Friday nights.. but cough cough cough.. I think I might be sick..

You should definitely come, BuckleyBunch. It's going to be a blast!

::yes:: She's just very frustrating! I met with the Principal of my dd's school yesterday and he said it's ok with him for dd to go, so maybe I'll just ignore her and go anyways pirate:

If you don't mind me being nosy - what's the teacher's opposition? If the principal agrees I would think that would overrule the teacher.

She thinks that vacations should be taken during school vacation time and that she'd miss too much work. I told her that I've scheduled 2 hours per day for school work that we'll take with us. She said that by contract she doesn't have to put together work for her to take :confused3 Whatever. My dd's ahead of the game and schoolwork is still easy for her. And yes, the principal has given me the ok to go, so his word does overrule her. I just don't want her to take it out on dd either before or after the trip. It's really just ridiculous! I'm planning on going with dd atleast for a long weekend right now, and then when it gets closer I'll see if we'll go for the full 10 days :teeth:

So how many days until Jellyrolls? I'd really like to be there right now!!!

Hey Karen..... Any word on my Mike's Lemonade? :drinking1
