Day eight--Wednesday, December 18, 2002
Today is the day we were leaving Disney World. The final day came much too fast for my liking. Carolyn and Joe were burnt out from going to the parks every day, so they decided to stay at the hotel and take it easy our last day at Walt Disney World. I went over to the Magic Kingdom to get in a few more rides on the Mountains, and do a little last minute souvenir shopping. I got stuck on Splash Mountain for my third time during my trip. This time, I was stuck on the conveyor belt leading up to the big drop for about 15 minutes.
I went to meet Carolyn and Joe back at the Port Orleans around 2:00 for our ride back to the airport for our 4:30 flight home to Boston. Despite a couple of rainy days, we had a great trip, and I can't wait to go back to Disney World again (although I think a trip to EuroDisney and perhaps Disneyland, too will happen before I get back to Disney World again).
