Kali River Rapids height requirement

My son rode when he was 40 inches. They measured him twice, then gave him a wristband that told the CM at the loading dock that he needed to be in a special seat with I think... A lap bar and a seat belt.

When we went it was 38. My DD was measured and her hand stamped (she was 40 at the time).

Every here is correct.

According to the WDW website its 38. From 38 to I think 42 the child has to sit in a certain seat with different restraints.

The requirement to go on is 38 inches, but those under a certain height need to sit in a particular seat that has a lap bar in addition to the seat belt.
I can't remember what the height is to not need the bar, but I think it is either 42 or 44 inches.

What if you have 2 kids in that range?

It was 38 in October last year. My DS was just tall enough for it.

There are 2 or 3 of the special seats on each raft. Both our kids had to sit in the special seats b/c DS was 38 inches and DD was 42 inches.

Thank you everyone for confirming this. Our youngest DS is 4 and nearly 41 inches tall now so we wanted to be sure since none of us rode Kali on our last WDW trip.

hard part for us was youngest on that trip was mad beacuse he had to use bar and brothers did not.
