My Daughter was only 38-39 inches when we went to WDW last year so there were a few things that her little friend (who was 40 inches) got to ride that she didn't, and believe me, we have heard about it since. All she talks about is riding that blasted Star Wars ride and Kali River Rapids. Now, we didn't ride the Rapids ride at all last year. She saw it on the video and wanted to ride it. I assumed it was a 40 inch ride too, so when we discovered that she wasn't quite tall enough for those rides, we skipped that whole area so that she wouldn't be sad.
Since then, I've seen the height requirements for the Rapids listed as being anywhere from 38 inches (which means that she COULD have gone on it last year) to 44 inches. Does anyone know for sure what the height restriction is?
Is there a good book or website that lists all the rides at Disney and their height restrictions, if any?
I'm happy to report that at her four year old Doctor's check up, she was 40 3/4 inches tall so we will be making a bee line for the Star Wars ride when we go to MGM and praying that their measuring stick is the same as her doctor!
Of course, she also wants to ride Tower of Terror, but even though she is tall enough, I might be a mean mommy and keep her off of that one!
