We're looking at doing something between Christmas and New Years that's a bit different ... at least for us. DH and I saw a commercial for Kalahari Lodge in Sanduski. Any fellow Canadians been to it? THX:wizard:

We went a year ago during Victoria day holiday for 2 nights. We had so much fun. Our kids were 14 and 3 at the time and they both had lots to do. There is 2 little kids sections so lot for the little ones. Huge wave pool which is awesome!!! I had done a search on Trip Advisory and there was a ton of bad reviews on employees but we never had any problems. I would recommend it to everyone. My kids talk about wanting to go back all the time!! Heck I wanna go back!:woohoo:

Yes --been about 4 times. It is awesome. Huge and tons to do. Kids love it. There is a nice large wave pool, several slides, play areas and flow riders. Also the zip coaster water coaster is cool. I also like that there is an indoor play area and the theming is cute. You will have a blast and not be disappointed. Nearby, follow the highway and there is a nice big Kohls store, an Olive Garden (we like to visit these while in the US) and the Sandusky mall is down the way not far at all. (less than 10min., 5 maybe)

We were there the summer of 2007. Great time. Loved it.

Indoor water park is cavernous.

We had a one bedroom unit with kitchen so didn't try the on site dining options other that some counter service.

OP - Thanks for posting about this resort. I just checked out the web site. It looks fabulous. We have Great Wolf Lodge Niagara booked for 3 nights between Christmas and New years but if we didn't I think I would go here. On the web site, if you go under great deals and then click on December you can view a bunch of packages that include some meals, etc. If it was me, I think I would book one of the packages. WAAAAAAAY cheaper then Great Wolf Lodge Niagara.
I also found 119 pictures on tripadvisor. WOW is all I can say.:goodvibes Please let us know if you end up going.
