k

I hated the fifth book. I'm sorry, but a normal children's book isn't over 800 pages.
On the otherhand, I found this movie to be excellent. It had its suspenseful moments, as well as the 'funner' moments. Most of the acting was great.

I have to agree with you about Cho, though.

POA was the worst movie ever. They stayed off plot, made a bunch of random scenes, and the werewolf looked like an oversized rat missnig a lot of hair.

In OOTP they forgot a lot with Neville. He had important history in this book, but the movie skipped over that.

Wow.
I applaud you for you significantly long post. You are very good at analyzing things. I'm glad that you explained why you didn't like it and what you thought. I agree I love the books tons more than I could ever love the movies. But in defense of the movies I love them as well. I'm going to see OOTP tomorrow. I'll see how I like it. I love all the characters...well right now except for Katie Leung as Cho. She just bores me. And I actually loved POA. But I hadn't read the book in so long...so. I don't know. I still love it.

I didn't adore the book, I believe Harry was extremely whiney, bratty and over conclusive on things in the book. But I loved the books that came with tons and tons of information.
And that's probably why the movies don't work for me, because the audience will get bored if a guy rambles on about what happened in the past.

I actually loved the book and the movie.
This wasn't my favorite book..but I really enjoyed reading it.
The movie really should have added more information..but I really thought the special effects were amazing, and that made me sit at the edge of my seat.

I haven't read a Harry Potter book since like, third grade, but my friend dragged me to this movie and I loved it, lmao.

It's strange..this was my least favorite book (tied with HPB); there was a chance for the movie to pleasantly surprise me.

You're not last to see it.
I haven't seen it yet.
But I'm seeing it on Sunday in Imax, so that makes up for me not seeing it.

I haven't seen the movie, but the book has to be one of my favorites, along with POA.

I agree with pretty much every statement of that, Andrew.

______________

My least favorite movie would have been the GOF, because I think it just veered soooo much off of the real plot.

And I didn't really like the POA movie, just because I think they tried to make things to dark and edgy.

Eh, I saw it today too with my friend and brother. I didn't know this was the fifth one. It bored me....2 hours of my life that I couldn't possibly get back.

To me this book was the filler book to get ready for the 6th and 7th
And for the people who just watch the movies, i think they are going to be lost when they watch the 6th and 7th movie
