First Billie Joe and now poor, sweet innocent Justin Bieber? Who won't you go after, snappy? I tell my almost 8 year old that he looks like him (mainly his hair) - he hates it -- I love to torture him.

My DD15 LOVES The Biebs! She sent me a text message this morning while she was at school telling me that she's coming straight home today because JB would be on at 4pm. That was code telling me to keep her little brothers away from the bigscreen in the family room because she was calling dibs.

She walked into the house at 3:47. She grabbed an apple and a cookie. Called her brother a numb-nut for watching Nickelodeon. By 4pm she was squealing. I'm surprised there isn't 5,000 dead birds in our back yard.

My mom says I did the same thing with New Kids On The Block and Marky Mark.

I've read MANY reports that he is FAR from sweet. From what I understand he's a little diva with an ego a mile wide and a snotty attitude.

AND ITA, I do not have any young kiddos. They are all grown up. But I have seen the Beibs on a few talk shows and I do think he is a sweet kid. Cute too!

I couldn't stand him until I actually listened to him on a couple talk shows, seems like a nice enough kid. At least he's a better age for my dd's than the Twilight crew.

I'm not a huge fan. But that's mostly because at my school if you're Canadian you're from the place that "spawned Bieber". However, I was watching Nickelodeon last Saturday when he was on there for crush week (I'm a closet Victorious/Big Time Rush fan) and they were interviewing him. They asked him what his idea of "a perfect date was" and he said something along the lines of "I'm really laid back so as long as she's happy I'm happy." Not a huge fan, but I definitely did think that was sweet Oh and if anyone's curious, my cousin used to live next door to him in Stratford, ON and said he was very nice when they were growing up.

He was at Shaq's house last year here in Orlando. They were doing some charity thing together. The lady I worked for lives a couple of houses from Shaq. He invited her daughters over to meet Justin Beiber. They drove their little electric car over to the party. Justin refused to have his picture taken with the girls until they let him drive their electric car around the neighborhood. Afterward, the oldest of the daughters was totally disillusioned with him. She said he acted like a jerk.

His interview on Chelsea Lately a while back was pretty hilarious. SHe brought up his hair flipping because he kept doing it during the interview lol.

I think he is more talented than a lot of the other teen stars today. He can play his own instruments and writes his own songs. He seems to be following a similar path like Justin Timberlake - the solo career and SNL appearances. He'll probably branch out into movies. I think he'll be around for awhile. He does seem to have actual talent.

Well, I have to give him credit for the commercial with Ozzy and letting them poke fun at him. He was in disguise as the guy who said, "He looks like a girl." Pretty funny!

Tho he might also be a total jerk. Either way - my kids don't like him so I'm safe.

I don't have kids either, and I saw him as another manufactured untalented teen idol (I've never really listened to him), but after learning that he plays his own instruments and is a songwriter, well, I think he should get a lot of credit for that; at least he works on his craft and is a musician. That may give him staying power.

I can believe he's a jerk sometimes, what kid isn't? He is a lot more talented than I gave him credit for. To play and write as well as sing, that's definitely something. My oldest adores him...the whole room is plastered with him and horses right now. lol

apparently not old enough to listen to internet gossip about a teenage singer tho......



anyway, i've seen him on a few shows and he seems pretty sweet. he's always doing stuff for his fans giving them passes to shows and whatnot.

i'm just glad that the Jonas Brother's mania is over with.
