just wondering

i was just wondering if you could get into a resort to have a meal without actually staying on disney property (or even visiting a park) and also not having priority seating? we live in largo, florida and for the most part could make priority seating. but sometimes we want to go and have a meal on a whim.

we were at the wilderness lodge a few weeks ago and didn't have priority seating for whispering canyon but only had to wait about 30 minutes. (not a bad wait time)

just wondered if anyone ever did this or knows if we would have trouble getting into the resort.

I take it you mean if you're driving and are going to park at the Boardwalk.

I know that AKLodge is very strict on PS and they check your name off at the gate.

Certainly the resort restaurants take walk ups I'm sure if you said at any security gate that you were going for a meal but you haven't made a PS the most they're gonna ask you for is your ID and then they'll make a note of your license plate.
