Just wondering?

We have a ressie in May for YC. When I 1st called to reserve a room, I asked for room only, according to confirmation, I got a WDTC booking. They said this was due to the fact that I was using my Disney Club discount and so they had to book it as a pkg. I am waiting for AP codes so that I can get a better discount. My question is... when and if AP codes come out will I be able to apply them to my existing ressies since it is booked as a pkg. I called Disney and the CM said I would be able to but I have heard so many conflicting reports as to what CMs are telling people that I thought I might ask the experienced people of these great boards their thoughts and suggestions.
Any comments?

when and if AP codes come out, you should be able to just apply the discount to your ressie. worst case scenario: you just cancel and rebook.

We have already recieved our concierge questionaire in the mail, should I send it in now or wait to see if I have to cancel and rebook?

Hello Margaret,

We too are staying for our first trip of 2003 at YC in May. Let us know where you are and perhaps we can get together.
We have booked the AXA code and we are waiting for the AP rates.

We are charter Disney Club members and use this only as a last resort. The AXA rates will be better than the DC discount with no package requirements.

Watch closely for the AP rates...it may prove beneficial for you to buy at least one Annual Pass.

We will be at YC Concierge May 23-29th. 1st time to stay concierge and real excited about it. I called to use the AXA or AXB code and the CM told me I could not use it on this ressie but I could cancel and rebook. With the code she said it would be $250 savings. I decided to just hope for the AP codes instead of canceling. If the AP codes do not come out for May we may have to stay moderate. I am really hoping for some new rates so that we can stay in style this time. I see yu are from Hotlanta,LOL We are 4 hrs west in Jackson, MS.

You will love YC Con. We will be there May 12-17. My wife's favorite resort is YC.

Hopefully, the AP rates will come through and you will be able to keep these reservations!
