I was looking at pics of POP at allears.net and I noticed the entry has a guard building. For those that have driven a car into POP, what happens there? Will I need to have my resort documents on hand? Will they check ID? Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free.

At the gate, the guard will ask your name, check his clipboards, & then wave you on thru. That's it.

Yep, what daisyduck123 says - and we always had to show ID (like our Drivers License) too - they gave us a parking pass (paper) showing our dates to place in our windshield.
