have a website (like most any major hotel chain) where you can check your reservations, add requests, etc. I would think they would at least have this as it would for sure cut down on calls to the Reservation Center?

Any thoughts?

They do. It's Disney.com You can book on line and check your reservation there. You can book thru CRO and still be able to check your reservation there. Try it!

If you have your ressie number go to Disney.com and check it there.

I didn't see a place to check on reservations. How do I navigate to that section of the site?

You need to go to the "my vacation" section. It is a small button in the 3 line from the top on the right hand side of the page. You will want to register, go to the log in and you can set up your information. You can put in your itinirary, select favorite attractions, dining, etc. and print it out to take with you. There will be a section to put in your confirmation number and phone number to see your reservation. They have been having problems with their computers, so, if it isn't quite right, you might want to call CRO.

You can now book thru CRO and check your status online? Is this a new system? I was aware that you could book online and then check status, but in the past if you booked over the phone, checking the status online was not an option.

YEs you can check it online :)

Isn't it still in beta? The pricing is not always accurate. I wish they would fix that and allow you to make payments to your reservation.

It seems they are behind in internet functionality.

I booked last year's trip through CRO in march and checked the status online before the trip in August.

our reservations never come up online but they're always they're when I call! I've tried to figure it out (verify phone # on file, res. #, etc.) but we never come up. They tell me the online system is very unreliable.

I have made ressies thru CRO 3 times and although the website finds the reservation, the pricing has been way off each time. And each time CRO told me not tp worry about it, the website is not accurate. It is amazing that a company as technologically advanced in their themeparks, etc. has such a lousy website. But they are supposedly working on it.

Yikes! I just went to Disney's web site to check our reservation. They have us paying almost $6,000 for a standard room at AKL for two nights!!!! It's suppose to be 7 nights...and at $3000 a night, that will be $21,000 for 7 nights! I'll have to see which one of my kids doesn't want to go to college this year!

Just got an e-mail survey yesterday asking me all about whether I had used disneyworld.com in the past to book reservations in the past and if I would be willing or more likely to in the future if I were guaranteed the ability to use discount codes and be able to review and modify reservations online; so it sounds like they're planning a major upgrade/overhaul to their online res. system. They even asked about the likelyhood of booking online if I was guaranteed lowest possible rates, to which I resonded most definitely, of course.

I can assure you that they are diffently working towards making it easier by using online reservations. My hubby is a CM and just over the past couple of months, they have kicked off a website for CMs so that they can now book their CM discounted rooms on line through the employee site which goes through the regular Disney online site. It is great. We can now search room availability ourselves. Then we can select the resort that best fits our needs. I see in the near future that passholders will be next, using this same method by logging into the passholder website. This will encourage passholders to renew, so that they have an active ID number to use to log in. So Disney is working on making it better. I also can check any of my reservations through their website, even though my earlier ones were made on the phone through the employee reservation office. Yes the balance part is never correct, because it usually says I owe zero--now that would be nice, but not true. I'm holding reservations for 5 more trips this year. :cool1:
