Just wondering what was the year you first went to disneyworld?

October 1998. It's easy to remember because we had the 1999 guidebook, which included info on Test Track written like it was already open. It was not. We got over it, though.

Well it was expected to be open May 97. It took 2 years after it was finished to get the bugs out. I was following stories of if it was going to be open for our trip in Aug 99.

I'll have to get back to you on this. My scrapbooks are in another location.....
Doh....

If my brain was working better I would have remembered that I have that info in my signature - 1974. With my mother. It was during one of the gas crisises and we bused around Florida for that trip. Visited a friend of mine who loaned us a car for a couple of days for us to go visit WDW (just the Magic Kingdom then).

2011 - We had planned a trip in 2000 with my abusive ex, but thankfully I bailed out of that one. Went with my spouse in 2011 and our best friend. My spouse had visited in 1972 with their parents and the strongest memory is that they hated the MK "it's a small world' attraction because it was all inside and was different than Disneyland's version.

My second trip to WDW was in October 2016, again with our best friend, and this time with our best friend's boyfriend. Had a blast, though I don't think I'll ever go during the F&W thing again. Gotta stick to low pop times of the year.

Been to Disneyland literally hundreds of times since 1975. Heck, I even worked there in 1996, one of the best, most memorable summers of my life.

With AA's ruining Disneyland with intractable crowds, and WDW being a "once every 4-6 years thing," we now do other vacations... cruises, trips, etc. with our vacation money.

I want to say 1972 but it may have been 1973. I do remember standing in line for 90 minutes for the sky buckets

Same month and year of my first visit.
OMG, I wish I remembered the exact date. The MK was so beautiful and it used to be such a stress free vacation. I can remember the only planning was getting to Liberty Square/Frontierland early enough to make a same day reservation at the Diamond Horseshoe. That was it.

1977, DH and I stayed at the Poly with our 2 1/2 year old Dson!
