Just wondering about when DVC buys points back

do they have to sell them in the same contract increments that they bought back or can they split them up again. If they buy back a 200 point contract, can they sell in increments less than 200 points or have to leave at 200 points?

Contracts must remain intact. In other words...If you purchased a 200 point contract and a 300 point contract, you have 500 points but they can be sold off in the 200 or 300 point increments.

I think you were asking about Disney buying back points . Disney can do what they want, when they either buy points as ROFR or reclaim by default, etc, they can split them and offer them as they wish- it is only on resales that owners may not split up their contracts for sale

You are right, I was wondering about what Disney could do. Wondering what the chances were for people on wait lists to get those smaller contracts. Thanks.

There was a post recently (from Gail I think) who had been on a WlLfor OKW points for about a year and they came through- she was able to buy the amount she wanted. It just takes come patience but eventually you should get something- you need to contact your guide and even if they say its not likely, put your name on the list
