Just wondering & A question...

I was just wondering what these post cards everyone is talking about? Are they just for little kids? or something you can send to someone older? If so, could someone tell me how to get one?! and...Just wondering if anyone was sailing the May1st 7-night cruise!

The postcards are sent out by your fellow DIS'ers, I am one of them. I have sent DCL postcards out for infants to grandparents to honeymooners. If someone wants a postcard sent out, all they need to do is send me a PM with the persons name and mailing address and a postcard will be on the way ASAP.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Veranda Man (AKA Your Pal Mickey),

The boys were so excited to get the postcards. I taped them to the front door last Thursday, so that when they were getting off the bus they would be able to see something was there. They ran all of the way up the driveway and the bus waited to see what all the excitement was about. They were the envy of everyone on the bus!!
My kindergartener has called a family meeting to discuss whether or not to bring his postcard for sharing the day before he leaves. The teacher wants to put a pin on all of the places the children will visit. DS6 thinks that it may make the other children sad because he is going on the best trip with Mickey Mouse!!
The postcard was fabulous, even better than I could have imagined and the boys are so excited and so thrilled that Mickey will be excited to see THEM.
Andy, it takes a special person to give such care to those you hardly know. When I think of our Disney cruise I will think of you and all your kindness, information and advice. I feel so lucky to have found this board what a wonderful way to pass the time before our vacation.

Mickeyhugger, please send in your request at least two weeks before you sail. I fill the cards out, then send them to Florida (whenever possible) so they can get a Florida postmark on the postcard. Whoever heard of Mickey Mouse living in NJ, LOL!!!
