Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

hahaha the dark side. I'll be interested to read your comparison between IOA and Disney parks. The Dr. Seuss area looks like fun, we go back and forth on when to try IOA because the boys love super heros, but they are too little right now to enjoy any major rides.
We really didn't get a chance to explore IOA because it got REALLY busy and we didn't have a lot of time.

Love Juliana's outfit, so cute, and fitting for the land you are in. Looking forward to reading more
Thank you!!!

Yeah, last days are such a bummer. It was neat that you could hit Universal on your way out though.
I wish we left POP a bit earlier but we were dragging our feet.

Juliana's Seuss threads are pretty cool....did she get those from the Big Give people?
Yes, that dress was from the Big Give. Those ladies (&guys) are super talented! :thumbsup2

:cheer2: Kudos to Juliana for reading her first book. We have video of our first child "reading" a Berenstain Bears book when she was a tot...but she couldn't read -- she had it memorized, she could recite it word-for-word.
LOL That is funny! Juliana has a few books she used to 'read' too. I didn't even think to tape her reading it. :headache:

Ana's Seuss dress is so cute! Just adorable. I loved loved that area when the E's were her age. Heck, Kendall (at 14) bought Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts from there for her and her best friend. Never to old for Seuss.
I thought it was fun... at first. :rolleyes1

We read Seuss and Disney in this house!

Love the pic of Ana and the Lady. Can't wait to hear how the rest of your time at IOA went.
Hopefully, I can wrap this up tomorrow! :goodvibes

Last days stink! But at least you could squeeze some more fun in. Even if it is at that "other" park.
It was a nice change but I wish we had more time to explore and ride a few more rides.

Congrats to Juliana on reading her first book! :thumbsup2
Thank you!!!!!

Oooohhh to the dark side. :surfweb:

Passsttt- new TR in the siggie
So, you want me to follow this one like I followed your last one? :rotfl::rotfl: :surfweb::surfweb:

Hey, when did you get hit by the tag fairy? Or did I just miss that earlier.
It happened at the end of last week. Seems quite a few DISDads got tagged. Hey look I have a squirrel in there!

First, congratulations to Juliana for reading her first book to you. That must have been so exciting for you guys.
She is coming along with her reading. I am very impressed. She does well writing too. :goodvibes

Love the outfit the Princess if wearing to Universal...too cute. We missed Dr. Seuss land when we were there...but then we didn't have any kids with us so it was not necessary for us to head there; but I think I'd like to at least go take a look around -- it looks really neat.
She loves that outfit. She has worn it to school quite a few times.

There are a few cute rides in there.. I like the theming of that area. :goodvibes

Does that mean you are a nut :confused3:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

:goodvibes

congratulations to Ana and her reading!

Before I post my last installment (which should be very soon) I wanted to thank everyone for following along. I know this hasn't been the easiest TR to follow, with some looooong breaks in-between updates, but it has been a very busy year for me- May & June with work, being busy all summer, then with Christopher's arrival on Aug. 2nd. It is sad to have to end this TR but exciting because I think I'm going to start a PTR for our 2 Disney trips, YES, I said 2 trips coming up in 2012- including Christopher's first time seeing the Mouse! After I post the final update, I'll start the PTR and post a link here.

I wanted to post a recent picture of Juliana and Christopher....

DSC03401.jpg

And a short video of Juliana playing with Christopher (1m15sec) just click on the picture to see the video.

EDIT:: I also forgot to mention that Christopher started cutting his 2 bottom teeth today! No wonder he was up 5 times last night!!! LOL

/
Tim, what a cute photo and even cuter video!

Thanks for uploading that and letting us have a peek. :goodvibes

Thank you Karin!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I don't think I have uploaded any videos of Christopher so I wanted to get at least 1 on here before I wrapped this thing up! :)

You were probably too busy bustin' on Marv. :rotfl2:

Probably. He makes it so easy to do, I can't help myself!

Yea, I was killing that juice. :rolleyes1

It tastes soooo good that you just keep rationalizing another glass to yourself.:thumbsup2

That is so funny. We love Pluto! He is one of our favorites and he is Puppy's 2nd cousin! pluto:

Pluto is awesome, we love him too. Puppy! How is Puppy doing?? I had no idea he and Pluto were related . That should at least get you discounted tickets into the park or some free character meals, he's family for crying out loud!

Now if I can get her to hold the camera still. :upsidedow

Oooh, don't you criticize that angel girl of yours mister! She has an excellent eye, I'm serious. She centers her subjects (you and Mel) very well for her age.

Your cake sounds like our 2 cakes from there. I am DONE throwing my money away on cakes there. :sad2:

No kidding, I'm done with that too. Way too much money for a crappy, tasteless cake. I've had better from Costco!

I'm not sure how long it takes her. I should do a montage of her cakes- they are all amazing. :thumbsup2

She really is talented.:thumbsup2

I will only hold one if there are strings attached. I won't put my.. ummm I won't allow them to...errrrrr I refuse to have a swinging bat come near my... ahh forget it.

:rotfl2:I think we get the picture here Tim! And DH has flat out refused to ever hold one again.
Of course I don't post any bad pics. You know she sit over my shoulder while I post right? She is the editor. :lmao::lmao:

Well, then she has you trained well! Hi Mel!:wave2:

Yes we have dates.... mostly set. Stay tuned. ;)

:yay:

We read Dr. Seuss all the time.. well we read it inbetween all the Disney princess books. :lmao:

My girls loved Dr. Seuss too. Those books and our Disney princess ones are soooo worn and torn now! But congratulations to Juliana for learning to read, that's a huge accomplishment. Yay for the princess!:cheer2:princess::yay:

I love that sweet picture you posted of Juliana and Christopher.:goodvibes His little cheeks are so rosy and chubby! All babies should have chubby cheeks, that's just my opinion.:goodvibes

Oh my, love the video clip! Ana was so cute trying to make her brother laugh. And his baby laugh was too adorable! Thanks for sharing, they are just beautiful Tim. You and Mel must be so happy.:goodvibes

Ok, you'd better spill the beans soon about your trip dates dude.:thumbsup2

Tim, love the picture of Princess Ana and Prince Christopher; and the video is too darn cute...what a wonderful laugh Christopher has.

TWO TRIPS?????????? Now I'm really upset that our dates don't coordinate. :sad2:

That's why you should change your dates to November silly!:thumbsup2 Problem solved.

Probably. He makes it so easy to do, I can't help myself!
At least Marv has taken the brunt of the ribbing and I've been left out! popcorn::

It tastes soooo good that you just keep rationalizing another glass to yourself.
::yes::

That's what I'm saying! Pluto does let us pet his ears though...

Oooh, don't you criticize that angel girl of yours mister! She has an excellent eye, I'm serious. She centers her subjects (you and Mel) very well for her age.
She does very well. :) princess:

Well, then she has you trained well! Hi Mel!:wave2:
LOL... She reads my updates but usually doesn't read the responses. :rotfl:

I'll tell her you said hi though!

I love that sweet picture you posted of Juliana and Christopher.:goodvibes His little cheeks are so rosy and chubby! All babies should have chubby cheeks, that's just my opinion.:goodvibes
He is such a happy baby! OH Rats, I had news to report on Christopher and I forgot to put it in that post. I'll go edit it but he started to cut two teeth!

Oh my, love the video clip! Ana was so cute trying to make her brother laugh. And his baby laugh was too adorable! Thanks for sharing, they are just beautiful Tim. You and Mel must be so happy.
Juliana was just being her crazy self and Christopher was loving it. I love his laugh... :goodvibes

Ok, you'd better spill the beans soon about your trip dates dude.:thumbsup2
I will... one is in Nov. :coffee:

Tim, love the picture of Princess Ana and Prince Christopher; and the video is too darn cute...what a wonderful laugh Christopher has.
Thank you Kat. Melody told me you messaged her on FB looking for something. I will get that out to you soon. ::yes::

TWO TRIPS?????????? Now I'm really upset that our dates don't coordinate. :sad2:
Well, 1 of the trips is not what you think..... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Whoa whoa whoa! What's with the wild trip report updates? you left no notice for slackers like me who have gotten quite used to the slow easy pace of this TR.:rotfl2:

That's what comes of planning two more trips for '12:cool1:

I checked in and Juliana found herself a few leis.

DSC02013.jpg

We were waiting a few minutes when Juliana gave us the 'can I have some change to make a pressed penny' face.

DSC02018.jpg

OMG she is just such a beauty Tim.

Pressed Pennies is the one thing we don't say no to for Katie at WDW unless we are pressed for time. We filled an M&M mini's tube with quarters & pennies (in the right order even!) so that we had them on hand whenever. 51 cents for a souvenir is my kind of bargain!

It wasn't long before we had some visitors. First was one of my favorites- Pluto!

DSC02023.jpg

Juliana must of been really hungry... she didn't even get up from eating. LOL

Next Stitch stopped by. For some reason Juliana loves this furry blue alien.

DSC02024.jpg

...
We continued with breakfast when Lilo came to see us.

DSC02029.jpg

DSC02030.jpg

I wanted to do Ohana just for the characters but breakfast is not usually a big meal for us. Now if they served Tonga toast.....

Looks like you all had a blast!

...
I waited a few minutes to see if he was going to come back and it was clear he wasn't. I talked to our waiter about it and he was able to get Mickey for us. Mickey seemed to apologize an he actually hung out with us for a few minutes...

We had that experience at Crystal Palace with Eeyore. Guess its hard to see through the heads sometimes.

We had a great time at breakfast and love spending time at the Polynesian. A few more picture on the way to the car...

DSC02046.jpg

Our resident photographer Juliana took this one.

DSC02047.jpg

A passerby saw Juliana taking the picture of us and asked if we would like a family shot. We couldn't say no.

DSC02048.jpg

We walked to the car and were ready to P.A.R.T.Y.!

Up next... a few party pics
GREAT family photos Tim.

Do you always rent a car in Orlando, or just this time because you were doing a lot of off-site things? I am wondering because we are driving in June & will have our car. I think we may want to use our car to get to certain parks (we are staying at Yacht club, so if we want to go to AK, then maybe driving is easier, or our breakfast at Poly) but DH thinks driving will be a hassle and we should stick to Disney Transportation.

What's your take on it?

LOVE THIS!!!

WOW WOW WOW!!! That is one gorgeous cake! I love that she found the Disney lettering for the fondant.

I love the idea of using a rice crispy base for the cake, bet it tastes good too. I hope she has a side business--that is too much talent to go to waste.

This cake was 100 times better than that $100 cake I ordered for Juliana at 1900PF (if you can even remember that!)

funny I was just telling DH about your $100 cake at Park Faire. Good lesson learned at your expense. :confused3sorry

Love that picture of Ana with Lady. It really puts the "statue" into perspective! :wizard:

What a nice way to say good by to Disney....a quick trip to the Dark Side. Looks like it was fun!

YAY for Ana reading Go Dog Go! I love that book. Katie still pulls it out occasionally just because its fun. :cloud9:

I wanted to post a recent picture of Juliana and Christopher....

:cloud9: too cute!!!

Hey Mary Ellen!

I will be back later to respond, I have to get outside and get Juliana off the bus! :goodvibes

Ok, after reading some of the chatter here, I have decided I'm NOT going to order a cake in Nov. If I'm going to pay $100 for a cake it had better taste good....I mean GREAT! Decision made.

I'm sorry to see this TR coming to an end but happy your starting a PTR. (nope not doing one myself). I hope our paths do cross in Nov. and I think I might have an idea about the other trip :rolleyes1:boat: maybe.....?

Love the video of the kids playing. Warms my heart.

Oh and BTW.... Love the squirrel tag. :lmao:

Great picture...I love how happy Christopher looks being held by his big sister.

Two trips!!!!???? :rotfl: Now you sound like me. :lmao: However, if you're saying that one isn't what you think...cruise out of NY, perhaps? Although I could be totally wrong, too.

Love your new tag. The squirrel smilie is AWESOME.
